I always love our visits. My husband has eaten the sweet and sour chicken 3 times and has loved it. Our server has been the same each time and we enjoyed seeing her each time. The chef spoke to the guests and was really nice as well. We have had a free cup of soup each time and we always get a good portion of food.

So excited to have Thai food in Roxboro. Wait staff was friendly, server aielloew, very helpful. Food is delicious. With good size shrimp in our meals. Made fresh, another bonus. Decor was simplistic which is a plus!
Went again this past week to take a friend for her birthday. The owner from the Durham store waited on our table. As he heard it was her birthday, he made us these dishes. An appetizer. A curry chicken dish, and a chicken veggie dish. Both were delicious.
We did not see any wait staff. But these owners are from Thailand. Speaking their language. It was a joy to meet them. Learn their foods and culture. The restaurant will hopefully continue and only get better

UPDATE (WARNING!!): the hours online are *not correct*. I just drove 25 mins in the pouring rain after having my online order accepted to find it closed. Very disappointing especially since this place is awesome..sad it seems this is a reoccurring issue from reading other reviews
As a lover of Thai food I’ve always thought it unfortunate that a Thai restaurant wasn’t closer to me, but when I found out one was opening in Roxboro I was excited.
Tonight was my first experience. I decided to order online and carry out. When I arrived my food was ready.
I had the Litchi Duck Curry, which at just under $19 before tax is a bit pricey but it is also a duck dish and I am pleased to say worth every penny.
I asked for it very spicy and normally even Thai places disappoint in this regard, but they made it truly spicy like I love it. My eyes were watering a little even but I loved every minute. Between the warmth of the curry and the spice it sure warmed up my body, spirit and soul on a cold November evening.
The curry was creamy, flavorful, inviting, wholesome and, most, uniquely, with the spice was a sweetness that gave it balance coming from the litchi. The duck meat inside was plentiful and was perfectly cooked.
I can say I highly recommend this restaurant. I will be back.
UPDATE: I went tonight to get my usual Duck Curry but in the way they called me to tell me they were out of duck. So I switched to red curry with pork as the protein. I get there and they tell me it’s on the house. Now that’s customer service!

Finally – great food in Roxboro! I usually have to drive to Durham or beyond to get Thai food, but I am so pleased to see on of my favorite foods locally. Our curries were perfect and the service was superb. He went out of his way to make sure we had enough and made sure our food was prepared quickly. Ordering online made everything even easier.
I would highly recommend Thaispoon to any folks needing to get away from the Roxboro food rut blues!

We absolutely love the food here. The fried dumplings are so good. Spring rolls are fresh. All sauces are flavorful. Papaya salad is amazing. Panang curry chicken is amazing. Chicken satay is amazing. The owner has a great personality and cares about his customers and wants them back. Expect a little wait, as everything is made to order, but it’s worth it.

The food was good and very fairly priced. The waiting staff was short handed. The waitress made it very clear that she did not want to be there. Waited 40 minutes for two plates, unfortunately one plate was definitely not what we ordered. Drinks never refilled, no silverware, and zero communication from waiting staff. I am not trying to be a jerk, but this new business has room for improvement.

The food was great. I had enough left over I was able to make a meal the next day. Came out hot and fast. No complaints at all on the food or it’s quality. Being a new restaurant you would expect some growing pains, so I carefully say that the wait staff needed a little bit more time to be trained. I look forward to going again.

I was excited to learn that the restaurant was here but now that I’ve been, I won’t go back. It wasn’t inviting at all. We weren’t greeted when we walked in. We were just showed to our table. No decor on the walls or tables and no condiments. We went at dinner time when dishes are costing $13+ dollars. The price was not the problem. The little amount of food that they give you for the price is the problem. Our rice also came to our table 10min before our entree did so of course the rice was cold. We had to ask for everything while we were there(refills, condiments). They definitely have more work to do.

Excellent place. The best pineapple fried rice I’ve had, and I lived in Hawaii for a couple years. Top notch satay chicken and curry as well. Wait staff was friendly and service was excellent. I’m glad good Thai food is nearby and I’ll be a regular customer.

My mom and I have been dying to go here for the longest time! We were not disappointed. I was expecting them to have really hot food, and they do have quite a bit of it, but there were plenty of selections that didn’t burn our tongues off.
I got mixed vegetables with chicken in brown sauce with rice and my mom got cashew nut chicken with vegetables and rice. We both loved it!!
We were so stuffed from the enormous portions that we didn’t have room for the wonderful sounding homemade desserts she told us about.
Next time for sure!
