Wonderful BBQ joint, and I’ve had plenty of BBQ in my time! The brisket was moist and Smokey, the pulled pork was done right (Carolina would be proud!). The sauces were great too and the sides (Baked beans and Mac N Cheese) were excellent as well. Can’t really say enough good things about the food. The site is pretty easy access and it’s a food truck I think that stays put there. We got the 2-meat for us and our kid and it was more than enough (we’re normal eaters). Price was about $35 with tip- so in Keys pricing it’s a steal! Enjoy!

Stopped by this food truck after kayaking all afternoon at Crane Point Hammock Museum & Nature (highly recommend btw) which is parked just north of the entrance.
The lady working was exceptionally nice and served up generous portions of brisket BBQ nachos (actually loaded fries but who’s going to complain???). It is a hefty serving of fries topped with Mac & cheese, topped with brisket and your choice of sauce. Yum!
We shared and couldn’t finish so plan on fantastic lunch the next day as well.

This is THE place for barbecue in the keys. We stayed in marathon and the food truck was a perfect bike pit stop. Staff is friendly and all food (even the sides) are delicious. Only fault is there are two picnic tables, so if full might have to take it home.

After 4 days of eating fish & lobster, I was ready for a change and wanted some BBQ. My friend (Matt) recommended Pops and I’m glad he did. I called them, spoke with Patrick and made a phone order which included a sampler plate and brisket sandwich combo. If you love BBQ, you gotta try the sampler. It’s well worth the price as you get everything and plenty of it. The pork ribs, brisket, pulled pork and huge chicken breast were cooked perfect and had that woodsy taste. It was enough food easily for 2 people. The orders came with their delicious sauces which you gotta try all of them to have the true culinary experience. The sides of slaw and fries were tasty as well. This food truck vendor was so convenient and quick to pull off the road & pickup your order. And Patrick was so accommodating and nice. And he’d packed it up to go perfectly. Can’t wait to come back & try it again. Thanks Pops Smoke Shed!

Yum! Yum! Yum! I always asks Locals where they eat when I am on vacation and Pop’s Smoke Shed food truck was recommended for BBQ in Marathon. Brie served us. She is just as awesome as the food. The food was over the top. We ate at the picnic table beside the truck and the best part was that we had food leftover for later. Brie told me they also have a brick and mortar restaurant and a couple more trucks as well. If you drive past and see it. Turn around at the next opportunity and go back and eat.

This place is good! We got pulled pork Mac and a rib plate and everyone (including the kids) loved it. The lady working there was so helpful and kind! We are visiting from Missouri and this place is very similar to back home BBQ. Highly suggest if you’re looking for something familiar and good!

Everything was super tasty, it’s a pity we arrived right before closing and many items were unavailable, but that’s our fault, not theirs. The mac & cheese was creamy, the meat was well-seasoned and juicy. The gentlemen were very kind and welcoming – great staff, a great place to grab food ‘on the go’

My son and I stopped here for a late lunch. I got the 4 rib dinner with mac n cheese and fries. My son got a pulled pork sandwich. The sandwich was enormous. Tender and juicy meat. Not dry at all. My ribs were fall off the bone delicious. No tendons at all. On a single piece! Definitely recommend for BBQ lovers. Price was a little steep but to be expected with meat prices today.

Food truck side of the road across the street from McDonald’s. Followed GPS and had to turn around bc took me down a no motorized vehicle road. One picnic table there. Service was good, she was very nice. Summer time hot in the Keys but we outside in the shade and breeze blowing, can drop it like 10 degrees. Parking on grass or gravel. Food was good. Pork Sandwich was big, filling well evenly cooked pork, sauce was good not to vinegary. Slaw was not a cup full of mayo like some other slaws, was going to put slaw on my sandwich Carolina style, but sandwich was pretty good as is, nice soft bun, tender pork with right amount of sauce. The ribs were on point flavorful each bite was perfect, came off the bone easily. Brisket was on leaner side, I prefer fatty brisket. Some places let you choose, this wasn’t offered, I could have asked, but forgot. Beans were good sweet and smoky. Mac and cheese was good, but favorite definitely the ribs. The kansas sauce was sweet for my liking. Recommend this place and would go back.
