I have been going here for years now and every time I am satisfied. I only write google reviews for places I absolutely love or absolutely despise. This place will always have my heart. Also, dont listen to Baconator Jones’s review. Anyone who gives them a stupid nickname like that and writes a serious food review should stick to the namesake place they should eat every meal–Wendy’s.

No prices displayed like others have said. Paid 14 for a steak and egg burrito plus 3 for a mineral water. Food was not good. just a tortilla from a package and chewy meat. Nothing special. Plenty of other places nearby have served me well, I eat out daily.

I cannot thank this restaurant enough. With just 30 minutes’ notice, they stepped up in an incredible way to save our event after another vendor completely bailed on us. We had over 60 guests, including police officers, expecting food — and this amazing team made and delivered over 200 tacos, quesadillas, and more, all on the fly.

The food was delicious, fresh, and clearly made with care — but just as importantly, the staff was kind, fast, and unbelievably professional under pressure. They turned what could’ve been a disaster into a memorable event for all the right reasons.

This is what true community-minded service looks like. If you’re looking for a restaurant that shows up when it counts — with great food and even better people — this is the one. They’ve earned our loyalty for life.

Had the Birria en Caldo from El Ranchito Alegre today for lunch and it was ON POINT. The consome is authentically and richly seasoned and the chunks of meat were huge with a good ratio of meat to fat and bones. There’s nothing better for your soul than a slow-cooked consome. The homemade tortillas and salsas are also delicious. I can’t wait to try everything!

This place is it for Mexican food, well at least in Tualatin and in what I’ve explored in Portland. How do I know, the birria! That’s how. It takes great skill to make a good birria and this place makes an incredible birria. Hands downs. Speaking of, the hand made tortillas are the size of your face and delicious.

Legit, authentic, Mexican food. I had the chicharrones y carne asada and it was amazing. Will definitely go back next time I’m in town.

I went here for lunch in a Sunday afternoon. It’s basically one side of a Mexican store. The atmosphere was typical basic taqueria, with about 10 tables. Several of the tables were dirty when I arrived.

First thing I noticed was there’s no prices on the menu board, and no actual menus to look at. This is the second taqueria in Tualatin (the other is Las Casitas) where I’ve noticed this practice. I don’t like it because you have to ask what the price is on each item, and if you don’t ask, and just order away, it seems like the prices go up. Also makes me think the prices are whatever they feel like charging you at the moment.

I ordered a Torta with carne asada ($11). It was pretty small, but had good flavor. I did end up having to pick out about 10-12 gristly pieces. I also ordered a can of Coke which was $2.

Overall a very average taqueria. Due to the no pricing thing, and the price of the Torta being a little higher than average for the area, I won’t be back. There are too many other better taquerias in the area.

My wife was craving fish, so I ordered fried fish plate from el Ranchito. Smelled so good driving home that I regretted not ordering a plate for me too. Luckily, the portions who so big, we both ate until we were full. So tasty too, perfectly fried fish, homemade corn tortillas, rice, salad, and beans. Thanks El Ranchito!
