We had the pleasure of celebrating my husband’s 50th birthday at Toscano’s Bistro in Williston, VT, and it was an unforgettable evening. From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations.

We decided to try the seafood sauté from their special menu, and it was absolutely delicious—perfectly cooked and full of flavor. My husband opted for the steak, which came out perfectly cooked to his liking and was melt-in-your-mouth tender. We also shared the boccacini, figs, and prosciutto appetizer, and it was a standout—sweet figs, savory prosciutto, and the creamy boccacini made for an irresistible combination.

The portions were incredibly generous, and by the end of our meal, we were so full we could barely walk! The cocktails were another highlight—beautifully crafted, delicious, and the perfect way to start our evening.

The atmosphere at Toscano’s is warm, welcoming, and intimate. It’s the kind of place where you can relax and enjoy every moment of your meal. We loved the overall vibe and the attentive service that made us feel right at home.

We had such a great experience and can’t wait to come back again. Highly recommend Toscano’s Bistro for a special occasion or a lovely night out!

We really loved Toscano when it was in Richmond and wanted to give this one in Williston a try. We have since been back many times and want to share our most recent experience. The owner, Max, is a complete delight! He greets you with a big smile and makes you feel warm and welcome. We sat at the bar and started with two espresso martinis that were served up frothy and fabulous. I ordered the pasta and bolognese sauce- so rich and flavorful. My husband ordered the Mediterranean pasta dish and added on some sea scallops. Scallops were perfectly cooked and the dish had wonderful flavors. The service was excellent and the entire staff was so friendly and engaging. Treat yourself to a glass of their house made limoncello – delicious!! We are so glad that Max is carrying on his family’s legacy and doing it so well!

While travelling through Burlington to see friends, I really wanted to find a place with high quality food and a relaxing atmosphere but had no idea where to go. Luckily we found Toscano and what a gem! The food was top notch – I got the pasta primavera thinking it’d be simple and get me some veggies, but it was so far above expectations. The bucatini was cooked perfectly, the veggies and sauce so fresh, and the portions were huge. I think it ruined primavera for me from every other restaurant. We also got a seafood pasta dish and the crab cakes, and it’s unbelievable how much crab and seafood there was. We didn’t try any wine, but we got cocktails that were unique, interesting in the best way, and clearly made with high quality ingredients. On top of it all, service was top notch on the patio during a beautiful day when we could see the mountains during our meal.

This is a wonderful spot if you love high quality food and drink with a welcoming, relaxed Italian villa atmosphere!

This was our first visit to Toscano Bistro, where we celebrated my wife’s birthday, and the experience was nearly perfect from start to finish. Our intimate two-top by the window overlooked a beautiful snowy evening, setting a memorable tone as we watched the snow fall.

The first impression was immediately positive. Rather than the usual scripted greeting, we were served by a seasoned, professional server whose demeanor felt polished and genuine. That impression carried through with the arrival of an artisan baguette from a local bakery, served warm with butter.

For dinner, we chose the Seafood Bake from the daily specials and the NY strip steak from the regular menu. Both dishes were generously portioned and well executed, but the Seafood Bake truly stood out as exceptional. The Paper Plane cocktail was expertly balanced and equally enjoyable.

Dessert was a strong finish: the Cappuccino Chocolate Mousse and the Affogato were both delightful surprises. Overall, it was a wonderful evening, and we’re glad to have discovered this relatively new restaurant. Highly recommended—we will definitely be back.

We had a great lunch with friends and their four-year-old. The food was great and the service was even better. Compliments to Terry for looking after us so well and talking about the restaurant’s journey since opening. We will definitely be back for dinner next time and are looking forward to trying the Bang Bang!

Recently new to Toscano Bistro and everything about it is amazing. The atmosphere is cozy, service is fantastic and friendly and the food!!!!! It’s delicious! Photos are of the grilled Beef Tenderloin w/gr. beans, carrots, mashed potatoes; grilled Faroe Island Salmon w/roasted red pepper risotto and pesto w/seared greens; and for lunch, Curried Shrimp and Scallops, pickled red onions, goat cheese, almonds and dried apricot w/a delicious herb vinaigrette! Highly recommend!

Didn’t live up the hype. Food was fine, but nothing remarkable. The seafood saute was rather bland. The accompanying risotto had no flavor whatsoever. Crab cakes were okay, but super small and pricy for what you get. Our favorite item was the sea scallop starter which came with a great beet puree.

Excellent. A top tier restaurant. Service was excellent, food was, again, excellent. A bit pricey but well worth it. There Bang Bang Shrimp were delicious, along with the Crab and Artichoke Dip apps. Pasta Bolognese was also a stand out. Good size servings.

An outstanding dinner and all-around wonderful evening experience this week at Toscano. Attentive servers, warm bread, creative cocktails, fresh salads, tasty entrees (veal saltimboca!), and a decadent tiramisu. A warm and cozy environment that feels both private and comfortable yet bustling and happening. A fresh and modern(and delicious) reprisal of the beloved family-owned jewel in Vermont’s restaurant scence.

Amazing atmosphere, great food. stellar service!
We went in Friday night early at 5ish and were pleasantly surprised to see it packed! We were lucky to get a table, and now we know why. The apps and entrees were perfect. We had an “adult” server which is rare in the industry, she had the timing down pat, I couldn’t have asked for better service. Lastly, the French Martinis were an excellent compliment to the evening.
If you want fine dining, ins not in Burlington anymore, it’s in Williston.

Added notes for the ambiance: there are raised half walls to keep the noise down between seating areas, and noise absorbing blocks on the ceiling made a huge difference compared to our dining experience a couple nights later elsewhere. My family members visiting even noted it after the fact.
The owner clearly put a ton of thought into everything. Make a reservation and get excited!
