We ordered 2 combo plates: 2 flautas with rice and beans $11.75 and 2 beef tacos with rice and beans $12.50. The flautas only came with sour cream and shredded cheese. Had one beef one chicken. They were better than most spots. Bummed about the rice and beans. We felt they were nothing special and would probably skip them next time and just order a la carte. Beef tacos were crunchy and fell apart on the bottom, but would order again. Ordered sour cream to add onto the tacos. No guacamole came on either entrees.
Interestingly, their green salsa verde, was not green in color lol. It looked like regular salsa. We asked for green salsa, and she said we only have 2 kinds of salsa and that’s the green one. They have 1). Pico de Gallo, 2). “green” red salsa, and 3). red very spicy, hot, yummy salsa lol.
I liked how large their dining area is. This spot is 3x larger than most Mexican fast food shops are. Makes sense to accommodate how busy they are! While eating, the line got to be out the door to order, and there was 2 cashiers too. This was at 530pm. Given how busy they are, we didn’t have to wait super long.
Unfortunately their dining area was pretty dirty. None of the tables had been wiped down. Food on both the chairs and tables.
We probably wont come back here again. We honestly felt llike Miguel’s Jrs was just as good.

So good! Mi Pueblo Taco Shop is hands down one of the best spots around! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and made just right every time. The portions are generous, the salsa is amazing, and the staff is super friendly and quick. Whether it’s breakfast burritos, tacos, or carne asada fries, everything hits the spot. Highly recommend if you want authentic, delicious Mexican food done right!

I get the marinated chicken burrito wet with red sauce. This is my favorite Mexican food place. The hard-working ladies at the counter are great. They give you containers for the salsa bar and usually apply the senior discount without me asking.
Monday is the flauta special, and I always bring them home for my son, even if not Monday. They are delicious too.

Got a Carne asada burrito with sour cream. Mostly had sour cream and lettuce, hardly any meat. Very little flavor. The lady at the front was very short with me, not nice.

3 J’s has eaten at Mi Pueblo at least 1x week for many years. Before that, Pueblo Viejo was our spot but Covid contributed to it shutting down. Family owned and operated, Mi Pueblo is That Place for affordable Mexican Cuisine. Check out thier daily specials and stop by anytime through the week. But once you Taco up on Tuesday, you’ll be hooked.
