Social Profile:

Village Juice & Kitchen has grown from a table at a Winston-Salem farmer’s market, to a food truck, to its first restaurant location in 2016 and now to its newest location in Raleigh, opened in 2025. Our founder, Lonnie Atkinson, brought her love of unprocessed, plant-based foods and cold-pressed juice back from her years living in California. Our goal is to share this passion with our community, offering many vegan and vegetarian choices, but also having add-ons like chicken and a wide ranging menu (with smoothies, wraps, salads, breakfast and much more) to make healthy eating taste delicious for all our customers and eating preferences.

Village Juice is such a great addition to Raleigh! The food is always so fresh and flavorful, and the menu is incredibly vegan-friendly with tons of plant-based and gluten-free options.

The team is warm, helpful, and really takes dietary restrictions and allergies seriously. Everything I’ve tried has been delicious — smoothies, juices, bowls, and wraps all taste so clean and energizing.

Highly recommend if you’re looking for a healthy spot that doesn’t compromise on taste. Can’t wait to keep coming back!

Love this place! Great options for healthy food and drinks. Their cold pressed juices will keep me coming back again and again. Options for those with more restrictive diets like Vegans and Gluten-Free. Helpful, kind staff.

Great atmosphere for having meetings. They offer breakfast and lunch. I got the Farmers Daughter Bowl. It was pretty good. I got a seasonal juice as well. It’s very natural and an acquired taste. The staff are very friendly and helpful!

I was very pleasantly surprised by the gluten free bread and wrap options, especially since they had great texture – not dry or crumbly at all. Ingredients were very fresh and all the fruit in the fruit salad was perfectly ripe and flavorful. Smoothies are excellent also.

I recently moved from Winston Salem and was so sad to leave the Village Juice kitchen there. Until I found out they have a location in Raleigh too. I had to go and try their smoothies. Perfect as always. I got the Super Blue and it was super tasty.

I also love that they sell dairy free desserts. My husband is lactose intolerant and it’s always hard to find something he can enjoy. Next time we will try their cheesecake.

The lady working there went above and beyond. She gave us samples of their lemon cake, checked if it had milk. This place truly makes you feel at home.

I will be coming here all the time. Stop by if you want great smoothies, food, and pastries.

I’m a big fan of their store in Winston-Salem and happened to be working in Raleigh the day of their grand opening 6/20 so I had to check it out. Great healthy food as expected and very impressive location and cozy atmosphere. Highly recommended for health conscious eaters!

Village Juice is my favorite place to order a salad- honestly the freshest greens and veggies- easy to customize and the dressings are light and flavorful! Friendly service, Also love to stop by early for the almond butter blueberry toast. Easy and fast to order on line but the cafe is bright and lovely to eat in.

We got two gluten free wraps and they were delicious! They are one of the few places in the area that offer gluten free wraps. They also used an allergy kit and I would feel safe with my Celiac family members eating this food. Staff were so kind and the restaurant was peaceful and clean. Thank you, Village Juice and Kitchen!!

I was looking for a menu that was fresh and not the heavy American standard (pancakes, omelets, biscuits. . . ), and this fit the bill! The place was super clean and had a really wonderful vibe. The woman at the counter was so warm and welcoming, and she offered up her favorites. We were served pretty quickly and the food was delightful. I will definitely return.
