Was in the area for a local event. Stopped by for breakfast and HAD to come back the next day for seconds. Everything was so good. We tried the quinoa breakfast scramble special, french toast dumplings, breakfast benny, and goetta.

Wonderful food. Great service.
They do not have the traditional table service, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. Nice environment.

A tip is earned, not entitled!

The food is very, very good, tasty, and a good value. Very clean establishment!

We collected our menu from a stack, stood as we read the menu and decided on our order. We stood in line to wait to give our order at the counter. Standing at the counter I saw a cash tip jar. Standing at the counter, we placed our order. I paid for our order with a bank card and when prompted by the cash register to select several pre selected tip amounts or No Tip, I selected no tip as I intended to leave a cash tip after our experience.

My wife found a seat. I stood at the counter as I waited for our drinks, coffee and a glass of water. After I delivered our drinks to our table, I returned to the counter to collect silverware and condiments. I delivered the silver and condiments to our table. Our meals were delivered to our table as the server shouted our name and I identified as the recipient.

We were very pleased with the food as prepared, tasted, quality, and value.

The young man that took our order brought coffee to the table behind us and engaged them in conversation, ignoring my wife and myself.

We finished our meal, cleared our table, and separated and placed our paper in proper receptacle, as well as dishes.

I returned to the counter to get a coffee to go. I was charged $2.50 for the coffee.

I discounted the value of the “Atmosphere”, as it seemed apparent a tip was expected when our order was placed.

I cant remember a time I did not leave a tip. I did not leave a tip today and as much as I enjoyed the menu, the food, and the value, I’m not certain I will ever return.

Regards

Food was great, the atmosphere was very nice. Seat yourself, order at the counter, the food is brought to your table. We got the breakfast burrito and pancakes for little kids plus a coffee. The coffee was really good and I would even order the pancakes for kids in the future as a side for myself. Service was nice and was not as slow as people mentioned in other reviews. On a Saturday morning it was busy but people are in and out decently quick so it is worth a wait for a seat if you need to. There were a few small groups here so there is the ability to go with a group and there is a lot of bar/bar chair seating.

This is Wilmington must go to restaurant. Delightful and delicious lunch was had here by my D and me. Creative chef has made a varied bfast & lunch menu! Had a bowl and my D has a wrap, both were flavorful! Connected to the local bike shop and Clinton Cty Trail System. Enjoy a meal after a ride. Reasonable prices and friendly service. This place is always busy so you may have to wait, and it is worth it!

I wanted this to be positive, first time here, brought my 2 sisters with me.
I ordered the pastrami/ham on a cibata roll.
I didn’t care for the sauce, it actually turned my stomach, the herb potatoes tasted like macaroni salad.
My 2 sisters enjoyed whatever they had, but again, they’re from Ohio and haven been introduced to really good food like we have in lower Louisiana.
Nothing beats Cajun/Creole
Atmosphere was nice, just a hole in the wall place which is usually the best .
This just wasn’t for me.

Trail haus is my favorite place to get lunch in Wilmington. They make it so convenient to order ahead and have a fresh, healthy lunch! I have never had anything from here that I didn’t like. Tried the Buddha bowl today and it was delicious! Thank you for bringing healthy options to our community 🙂
