Recently reopened after being closed for a LONG time as an American steak place. Decided to try it out as we have a condo right across from the street, and we can walk. The place was basically empty except for a back room. The decor was not changed or updated from the original restaurant. The staff were all friendly but seemed like fish out of water; not comfortable with what they were doing and extremely slow. We had a young child with us and asked to have her food brought out as soon as possible while we ordered appetizers, but they brought out appetizers and no food for our granddaughter who was starving by this point. There was no bread offered at all so we ordered bruschetta which looked like sliced Wonder Bread from the Food Lion slathered with some balsamic sauce that was so salty we couldn’t eat it; not even sure what the melted globs of cheese were on top. The entrees we ordered were no better; overcooked boxed pasta with what most definitely was cheap jarred sauce from the same Food Lion. My husband ordered veal Marsala which was served over Bavarian style curved egg noodles from a bag; also from same Food Lion. For four adults, the price tag for the meal (which included an overpriced bottle of Banfi Chianti) was $250 minus tip; not a cheap price for a very cheap meal. Do not recommend!!!

Came here on a whim while staying in Wintergreen resort, and was pleasantly surprised, everyone was soooo nice and pleasant!! My husband and I both got the Friday prime rib, and it was really good, the vegetables were hot and cooked perfectly! I was a lil nervous when we sat down because of the other reviews, but they didn’t disappoint 🙂

The food here was horrible and did not taste good the staff was very nice and the atmosphere was good the food came out fast and was not good at all. Cheese in the cheese ravoly was horriable tasting didn’t eat any of it.

We were skiing and got a bogo deal for breakfast. I was very surprised how reasonable the breakfast prices are. I expected resort prices. The food was great, large portions, and the service was fantastic. But, we were there on a very slow day so the staff was not overworked.

This place was incredible! The food is amazing, each dish was so fresh and the presentation was BEAUTIFUL! We dined with our family of 4 (mom dad & 2 kids) and there were no complaints at all! I would return again & again! Gluten free could eat here, low carb and even vegetarian! Happy family!

Over priced buffet items ($20/person not including coffee) ranged from gross, to tasteless, and in some cases rotten. The restaurant and resort should better advertise that the traditional menu is not available during the weekend and that buffet is the only option. Waitresses were pleasant, but we couldn’t get past the nasty food.
Eating here is not worth the time savings and will cost you more. Drive somewhere else or enjoy some random snacks in your room.
