Traditional Mexican restaurant. Feels like back home in San Antone and also like when I lived in various parts of Mexico. What you find here is basic Mexican dishes cooked fresh and served with love. The tortillas are fresh, the rice cooked proper, the beans hearty, and the ingredients fresh Tacos excellent. The bistek over enchiladas is also a great pick and filling. No greasy Tex Mex junk loaded with cheese here. If looking for a good authentic Mexican experience, give this place a try.

When I first saw the sign I did not think that the food was going to be as good as it was. The food was amazing and if you visit clearwater you should visit this place 10/10.

I’m not going to claim to be a Mexican food expert or expert on authenticity, but I lived in Cali for about 10yrs, been to Mexico my fair share of times and I have to say this place is a hidden gem in or near Clearwater. After leaving Cali for Florida I have been searching so good/decen, non watered down or white washed Mexican and this is the best so far. I absolutely despise when businesses decide to cater and change their menus to appease the populace. Don’t get me wrong I understand why, but still. This place is legit fire. Nothing fancy here, in fact the place looks like it couldn’t pass a health code, and those are the places I love.

Got the birria, fire. Got asada burrito, fire. Decided to order some desert, pastor and asada tacos last minute and they were fire.

Don’t be intimidated or turned away by how it looks in and out, or the lack of gringos, or lack of English, or lack of decor.

Probably making this my go to Mexican spot. Just have to figure out how to ask em to make me Carne asada fries, el nacho, no chip, no frijo, fries instead por favor?

Authentic and FRESH! Great service and definitely a hidden gem! Will be back! Ordered street tacos with refried beans and rice. Perfection. I was a little on the fence since the restaurant is in a market but it was the best Mexican food I had in a while.

Love this spot…. “Hole in the wall” small market and kitchen. Simple menu, great flavor, and willing and helpful ladies serving. This is not a chain or Tex Mex….they make the tortillas, not packed. The owner and the cooks run this spot. Pleasant to visit with them.

Authentic real Mexican food.

Their seafood soup is amazing! The Mexican bistec is delicious! I love that they have pictures so you know what your ordering! Some places don’t meet my expectations or they prep it differently. They have a variety of beers (says my boyfriend)! I normally order the fresh fruit drinks! They change it up so I recommend you ask what they have for the day (my favorite is the pineapple). It’s family owned and very welcoming! I can tell they have a lot of locals coming through by the way the owners greet them! It’s a great place to eat if you want a little taste of Mexico!

Little hole in the wall. This place reminds me that you may judge a book by its cover and, get it so wrong. The Steak Tacos were so good. If you love a soft corn tortilla stuffed with small chunks of tender moist steak, onion and cilantro along with the choice of two table sauces you will adore this little bit of Mexico. We will be back. Their fresh tastes are still present.

I was kind of scared to eat there. Not the cleanest place, and the bathroom had a sign saying “don’t flush toilet paper”…that really worried me about the plumbing, and there was no hand soap of paper towels…but I was hungry, and I had a 2 1/2 hour drive in front of me, so I ordered. The food was very good, and the service was excellent..even given that, I won’t go back due to the cleanliness, or lack thereof. I would hate to see what the kitchen looked like.
