I had to mind your own biscuits and gravy with chicken added in and it was absolutely amazing! The biscuits were buttery and flavorful and that chicken breast. I do not know how they seasoned it before they fried it, but it’s my absolute favorite! The sausage gravy was is equally as tasteful. I didn’t have room for the side of seasoned potatoes I ordered because there was just so much food. My friend had the scrambler with bacon and she absolutely adored it and said it was amazing. I truly do recommend this place to try at least once. The atmosphere was pretty cool. My only caution for anyone is make sure you pick up your feet in the restaurant as there are some uneven sections on The floor so you have to make sure you watch where you are going. Amazing food. Amazing service. We will go back.

Wandered in here not knowing what it was. Cute, small, cozy atmosphere with friendly staff. They graciously made me a virgin cocktail from their menu (blood orange, delicious!) Chicken sandwich was so good (sorry I already took a bite in the photo).

This is my second visit but will include my first that I meant to do.
This is such a delightful cafe. Open currently til 3pm each day and serving brunch.
Went with hubby first time and alone second.
Caprese: Delicious. We asked for a toasted, cut up hoagie to eat with it.
Turkey Sandwich: Great!
Hubby enjoyed his sandwich. Forgot what he ordered but…bacon!
Kettle chips: meh…Nothing on them. I thought I would like the flavor I picked and didn’t. It was the horseradish cheddar. Also is it weird I could taste the kettle?
Water glasses are adorable.
Cheese grits: Really stinkin good. Was recommended by another customer the first time.
Croissant w/ Grilled Chicken: Bread was great. Should’ve gone with fried chicken. And you know how when you clean a pan or bottle but don’t quite get all the soap? Had the faint taste like that. Otherwise great!
Service: Super friendly and willing to work with requests as long as they aren’t absurd.
Overall – maybe a couple after taste oddities but everything tastes fresh, delicious, and will definitely be back!

Great brunch spot! The Bloody Mary was just right, and it was dressed with basically an appetizer. The cream cheese grits were the best I’ve ever had! Everything was fresh and felt home cooked. Great location on the edge of downtown Newnan as well. On the weekends, be sure to check out the live music in the evenings next door at The Lune, serving some of the typical sandwich menu. My fiancé had the chicken and biscuits (and later chicken and waffles), and the Southern goodness of it couldn’t be beat!

Cute little cafe with fabulous five star food! The house speciality grits with garlic and cream cheese are off the chart delicious. Potato soup thick and peppery perfect. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu and always hustling to take care of her customers! You’ve got to give it a try! We will be back soon!

I had an incredible brunch experience at Whimzical Cafe this past Saturday. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for a laid-back weekend morning. I ordered the Croque Madame, and it was absolutely delicious—rich, perfectly cooked, and beautifully presented. To top it off, their Bloody Mary was phenomenal, easily one of the best I’ve ever had. The staff was friendly and attentive, adding to the overall charm of the place. I’m already looking forward to my next visit—and can’t wait to check out The Lune next door, which I hear has cocktails and beer, live music, karaoke, trivia, and open mic night!

Atmosphere- The only star I’m taking off is for atmosphere. It’s very cute. But I feel like they could lean more into the whimsy aspect. Let me thrift for you friends!
Food- the food was fresh and wonderful. It was light enough to be a casual brunch. Some brunch places are so heavy and greasy you leave feeling like your cholesterol went up 10 points.
Drinks- colorful and fun! The drinks were great and strong. The coffee was STRONG and hardy. Not trying to hard. Just a good cup of joe.
Price- fair. I paid 14 for a salad and a side. My friends were slightly more with drinks.
Service – so kind! They were short staffed and couldn’t have been more apologetic! We were in a little rush but still got out in time. The servers were so friendly and warm it made up for the wait. We did not wait for our food. Just someone to get the order. Then the gentleman brought a large bottle of water to the table. Which was great.
Will be going back !

What a great find!! My wife and I were in Newnan for the day to do a bit of shopping. Downtown Newnan has a lot of options but we were over the moon excited to have stumbled upon this little gem.
Peter, the owner, was very friendly and welcoming. The wait staff was great too. The chef was in the middle of developing a new dessert menu and let us try some of his creations. I don’t know how they could possibly decide as they were all fantastic.
We came in on a Saturday afternoon and much to our delight … they were still servicing brunch. Honestly, who can possibly do brunch without a classic Bloody Mary? There’s was delicious (what is in that mix?!), well prepared, and came with all the ‘fixins.’
The food itself – chef’s kiss. I got the chicken and waffles and my wife got the breakfast croissant. The grits were absolutely to die for. I am usually a hash browns kinda guy but this may have won me over once and for all.
Prices were very reasonable and honestly quite cheap for the overall experience we had. On our way out, Peter told us about a live music show they were having next door at ‘The Lune’ that we ended up attending later that night. Overall a great experience – we felt like family. 100% would recommend for anyone in/around downtown Newnan. What a gem!

As we entered the cafe, we were enveloped by a warm and welcoming atmosphere. A prompt greeting was accompanied by the offer of a seating choice. Although I did not indulge in an alcoholic beverage on this occasion, several options caught my eye, and l intend to return to sample them. We placed our orders for sandwiches, and while they were being prepared, Peter, the owner, kindly took us on a tour of his adjacent bar. The brief tour was enjoyable, and we look forward to returning for an evening visit. Our sandwiches were ready and waiting upon our return to the table, and we had ordered the Double Dipper and Mr. Clucks Revenge, accompanied by Brunch Pots (crispy potatoes). The food was expertly seasoned and remarkably flavorful. We will undoubtedly return.
