The egg & cheese biscuit is phenomenal! I was skeptical at first, but the friendly employee convinced me to give it a try and now I’m hooked on them. A great treat on the weekend after a walk or run in Forest Park.

The lemon cranberry muffin used lemons instead of lemon zest – very yummy

Very cool spot. Good breakfast, and free refills on the coffee. This cafe is in a park visitors center, and there are any number of events and people going in an out on the weekend; typically athletic events centered mostly around running. Lots of great energy and don’t let crowds dissuade you.

We sometimes bike from Central West End to the museum on a weekend morning, and get coffee here. I think the coffee is great, and so are the muffins. They have sandwiches, but I never tried them. There is seating outside, and bike racks.

Nice little cafe in the Forest Park Visitor’s Center. They specialize in fresh deli sandwiches, chips, cookies & soft drinks. The center has volunteers who can answer all your questions about the park. What they don’t know additional information is located in the hundreds of pamphlets around their desk. It also has a large event room, meeting room, membership locker room & bathrooms. A plus is the Wi-Fi. There are tables with umbrellas in the front & back of the center.

Firstly, I’m happy to report that exterior walls and windows of Forest Perk are strong enough to withstand May’s frequent tornadic activity; I had to shelter in place while I was studying there. This leads me to my second point; Forest Perk is a great place to study. Despite being surrounded by the bucolic Park, Perk has plenty of tables, free wifi, food, drink, friendly service, and a bounty of natural and artificial lighting.

Great place to relax after a run. I enjoy cafes to relax. Before and after work, before and after a run as well
This one is situated in a busy park. It is great to stop and get your bearing before going on with something else.
