We were excited to try this new place but the quality of the food and presentation didn’t match the price point. It feels like they are going for similar dishes as Driftless Glen, Dawn Manor, or High Rock, but in our opinion they just weren’t executed as well. They recently opened, so maybe adjustments will be made over time.
It was very busy and they do not accept reservations. Waited about 40 minutes for a table for 2 at 7pm. Small parking lot for how big the place is. No parking was available in main lot so we had to park by mcdonalds and walk across the street. Prices are not listed on thier websites menu.
Staff was very friendly. It’s a cool atmosphere for drinks and appetizers with friends but it felt like we were mostly paying for the atmosphere. We would have been satisfied with our experience for about $75-$80 but it was $120 before tip. $19 for 3 strips of bacon with cherry glaze was intense.
We ordered:
Limoncello spritz
Old Fashion
Cherry glazed smoked bacon
Peachy chicken sandwich with smoked mac and cheese
Braised short ribs with french onion soup
Snickers mudslide pie

The food here was good. The service was phenomenal and the asthetic was beautiful. My daughter ordered the kid cakes and received an entire plate full of very fluffy chocolate chip pancakes that were delicious! My son’s french toast did not have as large of portions with just a single slice, but he still loved it. The bacon is nice thick cut full of flavor. All the adults got different skillets that were all delicious and the bread components all seemed to be handmade. Overall it was a great breakfast.

I have a somewhat unique background of having experience in construction, high-end woodworking, and also restaurant management. This place really has every single one of those aspects done amazingly well. The food is excellent. The our server and the rest of the staff were great. The layout and the interior design of the building is really well done. Everything conveys thoughtfulness and good planning. Would highly reccomend.

I would’ve given it a 3.8 the place is beautiful the staff fantastic but the food leaves something to be desired. Add the Benedict and the eggs were like rocks well cooked nothing like a poached egg the ham was tasteless the muffins were hard like they were cooked way ahead of time and the sauce marginal. The house wheels were greasy and oily ordered a pancake on the side that taste it OK but was not super hot is all the food was not and had a crust on it. Is I usually do in six months I will review again to see if it gets any better I was the only one Dining

My family and I decided to celebrate Christmas in January, at a resort in Wisconsin Dells this year. We saw the Farmer in the Dells Silo Restaurant & Bar. We thought how unique it is and really wanted to check it out. I understand they opened just 2 weeks ago. Although they are still working on some areas, it was a wonderful experience from the time we were greeted, eating the delicious meal and looking around to leaving. The atmosphere was awesome interior decorating appropriate for the design and style of the building. There are pictures on the wall my husband and son recognized as places they had driven past many times. They knew exactly where that photo was taken. Everyone was so friendly, helpful and answered our inquisitive questions. This place is much bigger inside than appears. Some dining areas currently closed off yet but will be opening soon when they serve dinner. Bar is beautifully designed being a Silo. We will return to the Farmer in the Dells Restaurant and Bar again. I was really pleased to see their Christmas tree still up, we had our family picture taken in front of it. Thank you all for making our “late” family Christmas a greater joy with your friendliness and unique dining experience. I was surprised how early the bar opened. Giko, the manager was available checking on customers asking how everything was and if there was anything she could do, answering questions and explaining the rest of the building plans. I highly recommend the Farmer In The Dell Restaurant & Bar as a place to relax, eat and have a few drinks while you are in Wisconsin Dells.

Had a great experience at Farmer in the Dells. The braised short rib was delicious, super tender and full of flavor. We also tried the cheese curds, and they were amazing, you can really tell they use high-quality ingredients and put care into every detail. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and our server, Kaitlynn, was wonderful!

Food here was great. We opted to come here for breakfast instead of eating at Great Wolf Lodge. Kimberly was our server and super sweet and attentive.

Beautiful building. They do serve turkey sausage which is not on the
Menu which was nice. Service very sub-par. Food is good, not great in relation to the price point. Very expensive for what you get in service and food quality. $81 + Tip for a family of 5 with three kids
meals.
