This place is amazing!!! The prices are totally fair and you get big portions but most importantly, they’re DELICIOUS. I love Peruvian food and this has to be one of my favorite places in CT to get it!! The Pollo a la Brasa was so so good. Whenever I crave Peruvian food, this is where I’m going to go.

The food here is great and so many options. I had the chicken and it was perfect, moist and seasoned very well. I also had the cilantro rice and it was delicious (traditional flavor). I like coming to this location versus their Hartford place, more parking and less busy.

This takeout place is exceptional. Peruvian chicken is juicy and tender. I had the beans and fried rice for sides. Delicious. I ate at one of the few tables inside. Order at counter and they bring your food – cooked to order – to you. Spotlessly clean. Peruvian music plays in the background, not intrusive, just sets a good vibe. I have eaten there 3 times- each time really good.

I always love ordering from here and I have but 2 times I had encounter things in the food. Today I found a green piece of a big plastic in the green spice they give. It looks like it might be a plastic cutting board and luckily I found it before I ate it and choke. Again the foo here is good but I’m scared that next time I’ll find other stuff in the food. They do need to becareful when it comes to that stuff.

We’ve always heard great things about The Rockin Chicken, so I was excited to hear when they opened a second location in Newington that’s even closer to us! We were super impressed by their flavorful chicken, and I really loved their garlic parm wing sauce. The lomo saltado and Rockin chicken bowls were delicious, and I even had some of the rotisserie chicken salad for lunch the next day! The team prepared the food very quickly, and the space was really clean for dining in. Loved the mural on the wall! I would definitely come back.

So I made the order online it said it will be ready for pickup by 2:46 my husband got there at 2:47 when he asked the young lady in the front said give me 5min. 12 minutes passed and nothing so he proceeded to ask again she said oh I forgot give me 5. When the food was ready he didn’t even apologize for the wait or the inconvenience just gave him the food and looked like she cared less. My first bad experience with them. I really think she needs to work on her customer service skills.

The Peruvian charcoal rotisserie chicken was incredibly flavorful and juicy, with a perfectly cooked exterior and a moist, tender interior. The fried rice was also excellent, with a delightful blend of savory spices and herbs.
