Yeah, I’m done with this papa John’s. Constantly having to wait longer than the expected time, and this time getting what is clearly the scraps of the boneless chicken wings. They just suck. There’s a random sauce on the garlic knots that isn’t usually there. Just not worth going to anymore. Just go to the dominos that’s in the same parking lot.

All of my orders randomly started showing up crushed and slung around. After contacting the previous manager, that I noticed they were delivering with DoorDash to please handle mine in house or I could come get it. This fixed the issue completely and it’s been back to 5start. Current “new management” started sending door dash again. I called and they say it would be no issue to correct. They still delivered with DoorDash and they tried to leave it sitting out in the cold. Wont happen again

Ordered the XL New York Pepperoni special- $10.99
When I picked up pizza- hot to cat, then checked
No pepperoni- went back in and they made
Me feel bad bc they said they would make the pizza correct this time but since pizza went out the door- they couldn’t take it- they just grumble, well you can have that one also.
Got the pepperoni made- checked looked right but upon closer they do not make the New York Style- They just made a larger version of their regular pizza- super disappointing.pics show New York Cheese and the regular pepperoni

I can’t even begin to describe how FABULOUS this Papa John’s location is. From the front counter to the delivery person, they ROCK!!! We have ordered from them for well over five years now, and literally never had one problem. The store manager Sarah loves her team and it shows in everything. Everyone is just happy!!
They make delicious food, and let every customer know they matter. I’m so incredibly thankful to have this option for pizza for our family. All of the other pizza options in Watkinsville, fall far below the mark with us. This Papa John’s team is just great!!

UPDATE: Never received a refund, I was lied to by Sarah – the General Manager of this location. Reached out to the corporate office about my experience.

Very disappointed in how my order was mishandled. I spoke with the GM, Sarah to hopefully resolve the issue – as Papa John’s was not completely at fault. However, Sarah was very nonchalant and chose to be combative to my issue. I chose to get a pizza delivered for my son doing well in school. The pizza sat outside on the wet pavement with earthworms crawling around. There were stacked boxes that the pizza could have been sat on. It was beyond frustrating.
Overall, three associates continued to hang up the phone on me until I was told by Sarah a refund was issued and corporate was aware of the issue. She also told me not to order from her location again. This is disappointing – as we have ordered from this location over five times in the past few months. I asked them to have better customer service and be more understanding when they receive a complaint. It’s not towards the person and customer service is felt – it’s not just a tone on the other end of the phone. Also, I was called immature. *Sigh* Please do better.
I know it can be rough working in customer service -as you will get some irrational customer calls but I have NEVER had an issue with this company. I am beginning to believe there was a culture difference, as I was told my tone was rude from my initial call. Again, let’s improve how we view someone who calls with a complaint. We are all human. I called for pizza – for an excited six-year-old boy. #devastated #disrespected #disgusted #earthworms
I am very rational and understand a lot of the drivers are outsourced. Next time, let’s reach a resolution versus being combative. I’m very easy to talk to. Thanks, Sarah and your associates that repeatedly hung up the phone when I tried to resolve the issue.

Man I just had some of the best pizza, breadsticks, and brownies that I’ve had in a long time. This papa John’s is awesome! It came exactly at the estimated time too. Thank you Papa John’s in Watkinsville for a really great meal for me and my family. You guys Rock !

Generally I always get good service at this Papa John’s location. However, tonight they exceeded my expectations & I had to share. Called a competitor first and was put on hold. Called this location & had my order placed in minutes. Pizza right out of the oven on time and I only asked for extra cheese. Normally you request extra cheese & you get less, however, they did a superb job and provided extra cheese! It was the best pizza I have had in years. Throw in a good movie and it was a great night. Thanks PJs!

I ordered pizzas for a classroom party, and when I placed the order they were amazing! So helpful, willing to make exceptions for a school. When I called to confirm the next day they went back on what they’d offered, and then argued with me about it, not believing what I said. I am so disappointed by their customer care.

This is my second time having hair in my pizza. No one in there is wearing a hair net or a hat. The manager acts like it’s no big deal like the situation isn’t beyond nasty. The last time I will be eating from here.

I ordered a large pizza with ground beef and green peppers. The phone rep pitch me to up grade to an extra large for three dollars more. So I decided to go for it and it was the worst decision I could have made. I should checked my order before leaving. Extra large Pizza with no sign of the beef. I had all the tomatoes paste, green peppers and onions but to coin a 1970 Wendy’s commercial ( Where the Beef??). Papa John, I have been a customer of yours for a long time, but if you are pushing upgrade without the Beef I am out. Spent $22.00 and only could find 2 or 3 max Beef nuggets on each slice (Really)?.My family was so disappointed we tossed the Papa John and ordered from Mama Cia and was totally satisfied. Papa John management make this right or count the Smiths family gone.
