Zen is a nice family run diner with a nice atmosphere of calm and well volumed music, making it easy to talk without having to yell over the music. My picture doesn’t do it much justice cuz I already ate some, but they really feed you here; the flavor and portion are well worth the price! I got their orange chicken which comes with some broccoli and a good sized portion of white rice; like the size of my hand lol. My family comes here pretty often but it’s my first time here and I’d definitely come back with them!

Good option for quick Asian food. Our online lunch order didn’t have far to go and showed up in about 20 minutes, so top marks there. Lunch combos are voluminous for the price, but whether or not that represents value seems to depend on the dish.
For example, the Tso’s and garlic chicken combo was maybe 1/3 of the former and 2/3 of the latter, with a reasonable ratio of chicken to vegetables. Makes sense that the portion of the “premium” item is smaller, and the sweetness in the sauce was on point. Main issue here was the lack of flavor in the garlic sauce — I should taste garlic, but all I got was some red pepper heat.
But then we come to my partner’s combo, which had cashew shrimp as the main. There were, like, five shrimps in there, so it was like 85% carrots and celery. I get that some ingredients are harder to source and pricier, too, but if we wanted vegetable stir-fry we’d get that. Disappointing.

Great place. Happen to be in the area for a doctor appointment and hit a Gem. Got and sour was great, all the right spices. We ordered lo mein and lots of fresh sushi. Of the beat path, so worth it!

i love zen, their food is always ALWAYS on point. the portions are huge and everything is super fresh. the honey chicken is killer, like when i’m having a bad day, it’s my go to. they’re also super kind and always pleasant when i pick up. if i could give more than 5 stars i would.

My husband and I order from here quite frequently and never had an issue, until today. I got the pad thai and as I was taking a bite I realized there was a bug in my food! Totally disgusted and obviously didn’t finish the food. If I could give zero stars I would. It’s an awful experience to have and wasted $40.

Lived around the corner for years. Zen is awesome, don’t let the looks deceive you. Dinner or lunch bento box is a great deal, and the sushi is shockingly good. Inside/atmosphere is basically pick up your order and bounce as opposed to a sit down dinner spot but imo this is more of a takeout spot anyways. Definitely recommend.

The food was on par and tasty, but this review is mostly about my delivery experience. Keri was my delivery person and not only did she keep my food warm in her car, she also communicated every step of the way, from departure to almost delivery, so I knew exactly when my food was going to arrive. It’s especially nice since Uber Eats did not update me in the app (private delivery driver). Thank you Keri and thank you Zen for the great food experience. I ordered Happy Family and my 1 person family is very happy. And some leftovers for tomorrow!!
