We rate this a 10/10 they were all delicious. It’s like a roll of stone and a doughnut had a baby. It’s the perfect consistency and mix with a tiny little crisp on the outside seriously amazing we will be back. It’s a really cute atmosphere and everyone was really nice.
The buns are what make the sandwiches so good. I’m pretty sure they use malasada rolls without sugar. They are my favorite burger bun, hands down.

First a time trying out Onoh’s Malasada and it was good experience overall. They offer the traditional malasadas with your choice of toppings and fillings as well as savory items, which is a nice change from a lot of other places!
We got the Kalua Burger and the Kalua sandwich along with 3 sweet malasadas. The burger was good and well balanced, but the pork was overly salty – not sure if that’s normally how it is or if we got a bad batch. Not the end of the world, but probably won’t be getting that one again. The malasadas were made earlier that evening and were filled once we ordered.
The staff were super nice welcoming and friendly the moment we walked in and the restaurant was well-kept. Would come back for the sweet malasadas if I’m in the area!
We ordered a couple of malasadas. I got one sans a sugar coating as I was getting the mango drizzle. I also did the raspberry filling. It made for a delicious dessert. I did find it the dough to be a tad heavier than the malasadas I’ve laid waste to over the years across the Hawaiian Islands. And word to the wise, get the drizzle on the side. It made for a bit of a sticky affair eating it up.
Ohno’s is a fun place. Definitely one worth revisiting.
In regards to aesthetic, the bricks that they laid in the middle reminded me strongly of old school Ewa beach neighborhood ️. Really love what they did to the new place.
In regards to service, normal customer service but I did like that they walked to my table to give me the food I ordered to go.
Definitely coming back.
The malasada buns are fried fresh and the flavor in the meat was delicious. My husband got the southwestern chicken sandwich and I got the kalua burger. The grilled pineapple on mine was amazing!
It was also a lot of fun figuring out what we wanted to put in our sweet malasadas, and they were delicious.
Definitely going to come back, this place is awesome! ^^
