This place is fantastic. There isn’t a better Japanese restaurant in the Atlanta area. Tasty and creative food, awesome service and friendly staff. Try the spicy tuna biscuits. The crispy rice is fun and the flavors work so well together. Perfect flavors and textures with every dish I’ve tried. Fukulala is my new favorite.

Love me some sushi, never been to this restaurant so it was time to try.

This is my new favorite . Amazing amount of different fish to chose from, not many places I’ve been to that has this amount of varieties.

The pieces we ordered we all spectacularly created that delivered tons of flavors, unlike anything I’ve ever had.

The chef owner is very friendly and more than happy to explain his food and concepts and recommendations. He’s got it

I can’t wait to go back to try his latest creations!

This place is incredibly fresh and healthy. I had the miso soup, aged tofu, and sexy no rice sushi wrapped in avocado. The service was excellent as well. Come out and support this beautiful authentic sushi spot.

Best sushi in town! We had a family dinner at Fukulala last Saturday and everyone enjoyed the sushi and rolls with super fresh fishes! If you are chasing that authentic umami flavor, this is it. Will definitely come back next time.

One of the best sushi places I’ve been to in a very long time! We got the chief special nigiri platter and two rolls. They were so delicious! I wouldn’t recommend this place if you like grocery store sushi. This place requires a sophisticated pallet! Chief Ken is a master and we enjoyed watching him do his magic! HIGHLY recommend!

Sunday at 4pm I was the only one there yay. I’ll be back for sure. Thanks. ❤️

Very delicious, but if I’m being honest… Circle Sushi is still my all time favorite place for sushi!!!

What I did love:

The Eel Dragon roll and the Alaskan roll I ordered both absolutely transported me.
Perfectly soft, tender, fresh, beautifully rolled and presented. I have never experienced eel which tasted so good, savory and almost melting in my mouth. The salmon was also excellent, but nothing could possibly compare to the eel. Their Chicken Tonkotsu was tasty but unremarkable….partially because I was busy stuffing my face with sushi and allowed it to get cold, and partially because the texture of the noodles didn’t quite seem to jive with the dish.

I came during a very nice, slow, lazy evening.
I planned to take out, but I was drawn in by its cozy lighting.
It is like a little sushi cave.
Definitely the kind of place that would have the best eel rolls in the area.
Perfect for a low-key and intimate date night, especially on a weekday. This restaurant is in its own category, as far as local spots are concerned. Galaxies beyond what I expected when I randomly pulled up to the relatively nondescript location.

There is a lot to love, and overall I enjoyed my experience. There was, however, just one thing I didn’t love:
A more experienced worker being less than respectful to someone newer. Being respectful and kind impacts the atmosphere and energy of a place greatly, and the absence of these qualities is felt.

Overall:
The sushi is absolutely not to be missed, and if you like eel, you have found the right place.
The service was excellent, from start to finish.
The space is cozy and intimate.
Communication could use greater care.
I give 4 stars.

Firstly, ask for Madison. She was phenomenal in assisting us with our first experience. No question we asked were out of bounds, and she was thrilled to educate us on the options. From appetizer to entrée, the entire cuisine was impeccably prepared and presented. Even the simplest item, the ginger dressing, was the best I ever had. Will be back to try more menu items.
