Gino’s Pizzeria & Restaurant in The Bronx is a true neighborhood staple, and it’s easy to see why they’ve been in business for over 30 years. I really appreciate that they are open 24 hours, which makes it a reliable go-to spot no matter the time of day or night. The location right at the Woodlawn train station is incredibly convenient, especially for commuters looking for a great meal. The food is consistently delicious, and the overall experience always feels welcoming and familiar. Gino’s combines great food, convenience, and long-standing community presence, making it a place I’m always happy to visit and recommend.

The food and service was great but overpriced. A cheese slice was $5.75 for one regular sliced pizza. It wasn’t a huge foldable old school slice nor did it have a cheese mix like muenster/ mozzerella- it was a regular sized $0.99 slice but it tasted better. It should have been no more than $3 tops. So that was my 1st and last time going.

Over priced for not even subpar food, I was charged 10 bucks for a bacon egg and cheese sandwich that was garbage.

Gino’s is an adequate pizza shop. Their slices are decent and quick. The house pie/slice is their larger size pizza. Cash and credit are both accepted. Metered street parking only. Be careful as this is a very busy area near the train and bus stop and traffic police are quick to write tickets. 11/2023

Reviews? Always reading, rarely posting, but honestly had to speak about this. Came highly recommended from a friend and did not disappoint! Fresh, hot and extremely tasty, not to mention the deliciously thin crust had me feeling quite justified about this yummy (albeit diet restricted) meal. More flavor and less dough than my local spots, definitely a thumbs up in my book!

This was a great pizza joint 10/20 years ago but not anymore. Really tasteless pizza. Not impressed. Honestly only ate there because I was working in the area and not too many other choices close by. 2 thumbs down.

I’ve been here dozens of times every time I’m visiting family in New York. Dough isn’t too hard and has very stretchy cheese pulls. My favorite is personally the meat lover’s! You get ample portions that are definitely worth your money.

Exorbitant prices! They charge $3.25 for one regular slice of cheese pizza. The slice was small and the quality was terrible. The $1 pizza joints 1/2 mile down the road tasted better than this and they were more than 3x cheaper. I can get better pizza in CT, which is truly pathetic. Huge ripoff, you know they get plenty of business being they’re right there as soon as you get off the 4 train. This place brings shame to Bronx pizza. Avoid at all costs

Talk about pizza shop that never sleeps. Hot and greasy slice that hits the spot if your just getting back from school, work or a night out drinking. Pizza never disappoints and you won’t be sorry you went inside. This place is by far nothing to brag about inside as far as decor but who cares. Pizza is always good.

Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. Their prices are outrages, pizza quality is terrible probably the worst pizza ive ever had in NY. Its the only pizza spot around the area so they take advantage of that. Avoid.
