New place for me. Food was good rice was well cooked not pasty and it had flavor. Beans were the same slightly on the salty side but I have a low salt tolerance. Tacos were good decent size and the meat was well flavored. Not to mention the prices were very reasonable. I will be returning.

The food here was amazing! Everything was full of flavor and tasted super fresh. The homemade tortillas were definitely the highlight soft, warm, and made just right. You can really taste the love and authenticity in every bite. Our server was so nice and very attentive, which made the experience even better. I’ll definitely be coming back again!

I was at SSC for my son’s graduation ceremony and was hungry, I tried to go to a birriera place down the block but they were closed. So I found this place and it exceeded my expectations. I was hoping for just some decent tacos but they were better than decent. Only problem now is, I live in Indiana, 30 minutes from here…so I’m gonna have to take a lil drive for these tacos again ! Carne asada, pastor and lengua tacos on homemade and regular corn tortillas were all delicious. The asada had a bit of a sweet flavor to it, I assume they might use oranges as a marinade idk, they were good either way.

This place is the most disgusting place to eat at. The food is very nasty! The service is terrible. I called and asked for a refund and I also had the food and they refused to take the food back or even make two new ones in exchange. How nasty this food is you really wouldn’t want two new ones! The steak tasted old and dry and I will never come to their establishment! I promise you, you will not be satisfied with the food or the service. Save your money and eat somewhere else! Trash inside as well!! I will be reporting them to BBB!

I so badly wanted tacos today and had high hopes for them to be good and full of flavor. The tacos lack seasoning and the meat is overcooked. The birria lacked flavor. The horchata was okay but I’ve definitely have had better. Sorry to say I won’t be returning. Out south food just has nothing on Chicago food . We spent a little over $50.
