I been on a BBQ hunt and this spot I seen on IG. Staff extremely friendly and as I waited for my order the owner/ manager offered me a beverage and I truly appreciated it!! The food was amazing and delicious. I knew favorite place for BBQ.

Good life BBQ has some excellent BBQ! After the tragic loss of the previous owner of Fat City BBQ, they’re back with a new owner but same staff and cook and great food that they had before. Had the brisket sandwich today and it was excellent! Tender, juicy and had great flavor! If you we’re a fan of Fat City you’ll be happy to know that Good Life BBQ is just as good! Glad they’re back!

Fat city BBQ was definitely a staple in Stockton but my visit to Good Life BBQ wasn’t as good as my memory serves.
The front of house staff was top tier friendly as always!
I Got the two meat plate, Brisket and tri tip,
the server even asked the cooks if this was all of the meat (portions were small)
But anyways the Brisket was real nice and tender, the Tri-tip had to of been from the previous day it was old and tough.
The Mac n cheese had 0 taste, left feeling like I wasted $..
Until I try them again-maybe they had an off day??idk I would say I recommend checking out: Jayceons food truck or Emery’s storefront for BBQ in Stockton.

My hubby picked up 2 tri tip sandwiches. The meat was nice a tender I just got lettuce with mine and it had nice long thick slices of meat. Its not going to be a stacker but it was a good sandwich. The sauce is really good. I like the kick it has. Its still lingering on my tongue. Its not that burn your mouth off. Its like if there’s alot of pepper inside it. I like it just enough for Lil Ole me. We will be back to try something else.

I’ll give this place a two star The ribs were OK. The macaroni & cheese needs some serious help. it just tasted like noodles doesn’t taste like it has cheese or any seasoning at all needs a new recipe prob will no be back
