Carne asada taco was good. Tortilla and guacamole were awesome! Very little meat tho.
Bean and cheese burrito was amazing! Packed with cheese and grilled to be crispy. Loved it.
They offer a bunch of Salsas but you have to ask for it and they give you a red and green sauce. I was disappointed the salsa wasn’t more authentic and it wasn’t spicy at all. It would be great if they had a salsa bar instead. Overall, the food is good.
The service was not the most welcoming. Customer service is not a huge deal to some folks. But making people feel welcome makes them wanna go back.
There were a lot of messy tables and the have one napkin dispenser by the water cups and it was empty. They are pretty new, so there is room for improvement.
Plenty of parking and not a bad price!

Oh man, my husband and I have been dying for a good restaurant to be put in near us, and this is IT! the atmosphere is awesome, it truly feels like a California taco shop sat in the center of Murray. The carne asada burrito was perfection, and the churros were the best I’ve ever had. Will be making this one of our regular spots.

Great food and service at an affordable price! We came of the first time, ordered up front, and sat at the stools with a view of the kitchen. We got the carne asada, brussels sprouts, al pastor, and battered fish tacos. The brussels and fish were among our favorites. Our four tacos and 2 sodas were less than $30 before tip. Everything is freshly made to order, the handmade tortillas were particularly notable. The macha salsa also stood out. The owner Luis even gave us a sample of the flan to try. We’ll be back to try the burritos next time!

So delicious! Had the chips and guac, carne asada fries, carne asada taco and Brussels sprouts taco. The tacos are so amazing and the guac has the best flavor. Great service and I love how the kitchen is fully opened and really clean.

Best al pastor tacos in Utah!
I have been waiting for this place to open and it did not disappoint. The blue corn tortillas were delicious. Loved the pastor and battered fish tacos. And the green salsa was so good it’s worth mentioning!
The chef was super nice and made sure our meal was perfect.
I already told my family about this place!

One thing is they didn’t have high chairs for little ones. Hopefully they’ll get some soon.

Born & raised in LA, and these are the best tacos I’ve ever had. I would highly recommend the shrimp & battered fish. But the pastor & carne asada were also incredible!

Utah needs more amazing restaurants that aren’t chains, and this is definitely one of them!! Also the ingredients are so fresh and so good!!

I have been waiting for this place to open as soon as I saw the taco sign up during construction. Food 10/10, ambiance 10/10, staff 10/10. I got two pollo asado tacos with a side of extra chicken (because protein) and their portions are delightfully sized. Worth stopping by, definitely check them out!

La Lola Taco absolutely blew me away. From the moment we walked in, the vibe was super cool — modern but cozy, with the chandeliers and open kitchen giving it a really unique feel. It’s the kind of place that feels both chill and special at the same time.

The food was incredible. The tacos were packed with flavor, especially the Al Pastor — perfectly seasoned and cooked just right. The homemade blue corn tortillas make a huge difference and taste so fresh. The burritos are huge and loaded, and you can tell they use high-quality ingredients in everything. Even the chips and guac were on point.

The staff was friendly, fast, and really helpful with recommendations. You can tell they care about the experience, not just the food.

Generous portions, great atmosphere, and seriously delicious food. I’ll 100% be coming back. If you’re thinking about trying it — do it.

Tried the Los Angeles burrito. Flavor was okay, but the steak was super chewy and inedible. The green salsa had a strong cumin flavor. Ate half and threw the rest away.

Ordered online and was given a pickup time 30 minutes later. Arrived at restaurant at the pickup time and was told that the order would “take a few minutes longer.” I ultimately received my order 35 minutes later, which I consider to be both way more than a “few minutes.”

The food was uneven. I tried several items:
Esquites – completely lacking salt – not great
Guacamole and chips – unlike the esquites, the guac was WAY over salted – inedible. The chips were just meh.
Cheese quesadilla – got it on flour. It was simple but tasty.
Fish taco – it says it comes with red cabbage and pico de gallo, but the red cabbage was a very soupy creamy slaw and in my five minute drive home, the fish became soggy. Flavors were also a little bland.
Carne asada taco – this one was pretty good, but meat is chopped into cubes larger than dice and one of my cubes was all connective tissue
Al pastor taco – great flavor and meat. I didn’t get any of the promised pineapple, but this was still the best item overall
Flan – solid and clearly made in house from scratch. Not terribly dense like my favorite is, but I would get again
Churros – Great tasting dough, perfectly cooked and generously coated with sugar.

Maybe it was just a busy night that overwhelmed the place, but I’m hopeful that this place can improve and I can update my review.
