Bean and cheese burrito was amazing! Packed with cheese and grilled to be crispy. Loved it.
They offer a bunch of Salsas but you have to ask for it and they give you a red and green sauce. I was disappointed the salsa wasn’t more authentic and it wasn’t spicy at all. It would be great if they had a salsa bar instead. Overall, the food is good.
The service was not the most welcoming. Customer service is not a huge deal to some folks. But making people feel welcome makes them wanna go back.
There were a lot of messy tables and the have one napkin dispenser by the water cups and it was empty. They are pretty new, so there is room for improvement.
Plenty of parking and not a bad price!
I have been waiting for this place to open and it did not disappoint. The blue corn tortillas were delicious. Loved the pastor and battered fish tacos. And the green salsa was so good it’s worth mentioning!
The chef was super nice and made sure our meal was perfect.
I already told my family about this place!
One thing is they didn’t have high chairs for little ones. Hopefully they’ll get some soon.
Utah needs more amazing restaurants that aren’t chains, and this is definitely one of them!! Also the ingredients are so fresh and so good!!
The food was incredible. The tacos were packed with flavor, especially the Al Pastor — perfectly seasoned and cooked just right. The homemade blue corn tortillas make a huge difference and taste so fresh. The burritos are huge and loaded, and you can tell they use high-quality ingredients in everything. Even the chips and guac were on point.
The staff was friendly, fast, and really helpful with recommendations. You can tell they care about the experience, not just the food.
Generous portions, great atmosphere, and seriously delicious food. I’ll 100% be coming back. If you’re thinking about trying it — do it.
The food was uneven. I tried several items:
Esquites – completely lacking salt – not great
Guacamole and chips – unlike the esquites, the guac was WAY over salted – inedible. The chips were just meh.
Cheese quesadilla – got it on flour. It was simple but tasty.
Fish taco – it says it comes with red cabbage and pico de gallo, but the red cabbage was a very soupy creamy slaw and in my five minute drive home, the fish became soggy. Flavors were also a little bland.
Carne asada taco – this one was pretty good, but meat is chopped into cubes larger than dice and one of my cubes was all connective tissue
Al pastor taco – great flavor and meat. I didn’t get any of the promised pineapple, but this was still the best item overall
Flan – solid and clearly made in house from scratch. Not terribly dense like my favorite is, but I would get again
Churros – Great tasting dough, perfectly cooked and generously coated with sugar.
Maybe it was just a busy night that overwhelmed the place, but I’m hopeful that this place can improve and I can update my review.
