Stopped by for lunch and highly recommend the grouper sandwich. We also had the rock shrimp steamed with old bay, the meat was sweet and so fresh. The onion rings were a favorite and the cole slaw were perfect accompaniment to my fish tacos. Tasha was very helpful with our order.

The word on the street was/is that this place is headed for stardom in the foodie world and man, did they not disappoint. We took our time making it selections, with the help of Matt Pickett, and decided on a lb of stone crab, cracked and cold, a little more than a 1/2 lb of lightly blackened and pan fried triggerfish and some of their smoked shrimp dip which we were able to taste and based on the sample, picked instead of the fish dip which we didn’t sample but will next time. The stone crab was perfect, succulent, and just amazing. Best I have ever had, served with drawn butter and mustard sauce that enhanced the flavor of the crab. The trigger fish was easily the freshest fish I have ever had. Days later I can still taste it in my imagination. Fluffy and sweet and melt in the mouth goodness. I could eat this every day. Served with well fried French fries and cole slaw that was also homemade. The shrimp dip was mind blowing. So much shrimp and the smoky flavor and burn of the jalapeños. I may go back today to try out what they are serving today. Cool vibe, and the service was great too. A very good value, not cheap but we felt like we got our money’s worth and will be back soon. Thanks Matt and Samantha! You have a winner!

Picketts Seafood was absolutely amazing! The crab cakes, fish bites, and spicy shrimp appetizers were all incredible — but the fish bites were hands down the best. Perfectly cooked, flavorful, and addictive. Everything tasted fresh and high quality.
The staff was just as impressive — friendly, welcoming, and genuinely attentive, which made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area. We will definitely be back!

If you’re in New Smyrna Beach and love great seafood, Pickett’s Seafood is absolutely worth the stop. The service was outstanding, and the seafood counter was incredible—fresh, well-displayed, and staffed by people who clearly know their stuff.
Francine was especially fantastic. She’s friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to help you pick out exactly what you need. It’s always refreshing when someone behind the counter truly understands the product and enjoys helping customers.
And if you’re a wine-lover (or a “whiner” ), do yourself a favor and try the Silk & Spice Red Blend. It pairs perfectly with seafood and is a great recommendation from the staff.

Nice fish market with a beer and wine bar and a couple of tables. Order at the bar and food comes on tin trays with plastic ware. We came at dinner and waited some time for one of the few tables to open up. We tried everything from the salads to the soup, calamari, fried and broiled fish dishes, buffalo scallops, coconut and rock shrimp, fries, onion rings…all were outstanding! Tried to get dessert but none available yet. They are needing to expedite that patio dining.

Hours are 11am to 8pm for the restaurant and 11am-6pm for the fresh fish market. Food was amazing, coleslaw was fresh, fried fish sandwich was huge, great tasting fries, tried the coconut shrimp appetizer also and it was great. Another in our party had the yummy blackened fish sandwich and onion rings.

Great place for fresh seafood. Everything was exceptional. Shrimp was a standout. Fresh, lightly breaded not oily at all with super cold and fresh cocktail sauce. Cold beer and outstanding service. Come on by and get the catch of the day!

Super cute fish restaurant/market place! My little boy loved seeing the big fresh fish in the case, he wanted to try it all. The clam chowder was thinner than expected but rich and delicious! We got some fresh fish from the case, but the scallops cooked in a special lemon garlic sauce was the favorite of the group. We will be sure to come back to try new fish they get fresh (along with another bowl of clam chowder).

We are happy to see a new seafood restaurant in New Smyrna Beach! I had the crab rolls (plural) with fries and coleslaw for $16.99. They were absolutely delicious. My husband says the crab cake sandwich was equally good!
