Today I visited Sonic Drive-In, and there was a really nice worker named Momina who helped me. She was very friendly and kind to me. When I asked her for an extra ketchup, she went inside and brought me extra ketchups right away. It made my visit really pleasant.

I normally provide any food place a generous 3 strike rule before I stop going there. Sonic just got 3 in one visit. Last place that failed me this hard was the Wendy’s on 45th.

Strike 1: While I was waiting for the shift manager to fix the overcharging of my order (which I can forgive, the cashier seemed like they were still learning), I witnessed another employee eating fries out of a customer’s order before it was brought to them. Pretty sure he did that to mine too, because our order of large tots looked more mediums. There was an inch of space between the tots and the opening of the box. This is a pretty big strike. Why is nobody stopping him?

Strike 2: aside from tots, I ordered chili cheese tots. I took care of the tray that was handed to me, kept it secure until I opened it up at home… 1/4 of the container was empty. Not like that kid ate out of it, the food just wasn’t there. That 1/4 of the tray was clean. I feel like I received a medium in a large container. Why the hell are they being so stingy?

Strike 3: after I split my chili cheese tots with my daughter, I open up our chicken sandwiches. I am so displeased by what I saw, I finally started taking photos. Wish I could share what I saw from the tots, but this chicken was NASTY! Tiny little piece of chicken. When I got to the middle, it felt so processed, felt more like digging my teeth into a firm Styrofoam than chicken. It was dense and I couldn’t tell if it was over cooked or under cooked. I ate what I could around the middle and tossed the middle out.

I am annoyed, disgusted, and still hungry. One of my worst experiences ever at a drive thru.

This is the SECOND time we’ve attempted to order a “Sonic Blast” at this location – both times, apparently actually mixing it up isn’t possible, we receive solid vanilla ice cream with a scoop or two of toppings thrown on the top. If I wanted a sundae, I would’ve ordered one and paid less for it. And this isn’t just a simple mixup – both times multiple blasts were ordered and both times, every single one was made without mixing.

If you’re looking for an option like this, skip the Blast and get yourself a Blizzard.

I made it simple ordered the all American Hot dog. It’s called a Hot dog. It was cold! How can you cook a hot dog cold. Onion rings were hot, just put the wiener in the hot oil with the onion rings then it would be hot. I paid $19 for a cold wiener and onion rings and chicken skin bites. Never again.

Worst fast food experience of my life. Everything about our order was completely incorrect. When we pointed out things were incorrect or missing we were met with sighs and reluctantance to fix things. We tried to be as nice and patient as possible because it was later in the evening (around 10). But we still left and gave up trying to get our order right because so many things were messed up and the staff seemed very annoyed with fixing things.

5 PC chicken basket had 3 1/2 pieces
Toast was burnt
Tots weren’t seasoned
Sauce that they asked if we wanted was not provided
One tiny onion ring.
Most of the food seems very stale and old.

They missed an order of tots and a whole burger
The burger didn’t have bacon
And they missed a drink

They looked at our receipt 4 times while trying to fix things and came back short several times.

We eventually just left with what we had due to the customer service and atmosphere.

0/10 would not recommend.

I’ve given this sonic MANY chances to redeem itself, but the past 5 times I’ve been I’ve had to wait 40+ minutes for my food to get out. Not talking huge complicated orders either, one was a sundae and milkshake. Another was a burger and tater tots. Another was a coney dog, tots, and chicken strips basket. Went to ask where the food was and they came out with it two minutes later, obviously having sat under a warmer for many minutes. I will not be coming back, ever again. This sonic had its chances, and it’s not getting any more. Be warned people!

One of the best places in town. Being from the south but raised in the north we never could have up here. And then they finally came to town. Happy days . Great food …drinks and treats of all kinds..highly recommend

Not impressed. Customer was less than desirable. Out. Common items. Out of simple items like whipped toppings and cherries. Grocery store right across the street!
Employee had no idea how to check me in on mobile app as walk up on patio.

They got our order wrong the first time but Reese and a young lady fixed it quickly. They remade everything and told us to keep the wrong bag. My family will be back again.
