I have always had a great experience with this place! The owner (or I assume he is) is always friendly, will have a good conversation if wanted. Fried corn on the cob is amazing always great prices! (I already ate most of my food – then decided to take a photo).
For the reviews of the side dishes: side dishes always seem to be the same everywhere you go… With maybe a few that are notable the rest can be bland or just the same from place to place. My focus is always the main meal – chicken. If you’re SUPER picky on chicken, politely ask for fresh chicken (or fish) and he will oblige. I have been here multiple times at various times of the day (sometimes lunch, sometimes dinner) and when the chicken is at the end of it’s shelf life he will be honest, although I usually still take what he as “on deck” and still am not disappointed.

I actually like the chicken to be overcooked, I feel like a lot of fried chicken place can be questionable, is it the best fried chicken I ever had? No, but if I just need cheap fried chicken to go I’d pick this place over a lot of the place in time.

I placed an order on grubhub and man i was blown away. Chicken was perfect, my catfish was amazing, id slap my momma for one mor of those biscuits. My one and only critique is the gravy on the mash was super runny. But everything else 10 out of 10. I can only assume if i drove and got it myself it would be even been better. Amazing like seriously so good.

Not a bad place, but chicken was either sitting longer than told, or it was a little over cooked….. still has good flavor though. The potato wedges were good, flavored and perfectly crispy. The “boom boom” sauce was on point, whatever it is!!! Price wise, a little more pricey than it should be, comparable with other chicken spots close by. When purchasing fries or wedges, u shouldn’t have to pay for ketchup, or catsup (however u want to spell it)!

Super tasty and crispy with just the right amount of spice. The fried chicken was egg and dairy free. The guy who owns the place was really friendly and upbeat. We had the red beans n rice ,coleslaw and mashed potatoes with beef gravy as our sides. The only thing that could have been better was the instant mashed potatoes. I’ll be going back for sure !

We always get the tenders with biscuits and jambalaya. The house boom boom sauce is super delicious, I wish I could get it by the bottle. I love this place because there’s no wait for good food. The prices are reasonable, and the owner is friendly and accommodating.

We have ordered takeout chicken, biscuits and fries via GrubHub a few times now and the chicken is AMAZING! Crispy, well-seasoned chicken that has been juicy and tender every time. Fries are flavorful and the biscuits are delicious. Can’t recommend this place enough as it’s truly some of the best fried chicken to be found in GR!
