My mom and I stopped at MT Plate Diner while we were on our M-22 Roadtrip this past weekend and we had an excellent experience. We arrived for a late lunch, around 2:30pm and we were the only customers in the restaurant at the time so we had our choice of seating. There is great seating both indoor and out.
I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich with house chips and mom ordered the grilled cheese and we were both very satisfied with our meals. We didn’t leave any food behind or have anything left to take with us. The serving sizes were perfect.
The staff was kind and welcomed us in and took good care of us during our visit. We’d be happy to visit again.

My family and I just had the most amazing breakfast here! Best sausage gravy and biscuits I have ever had at a restaurant. We love to cook at home, and this tasted like what we make at home from scratch. Fabulous!

We stopped at MT Plate Diner for breakfast with a group of seven, and they had us seated within fifteen minutes. That alone deserves credit.
Everyone ordered something different: pancakes, omelets, biscuits and gravy, and everything came out hot and well made. Every plate was cleaned. Everyone left full and happy.
The staff was friendly and attentive without hovering. The diner is bright, clean, and decorated with local photography that gives it a warm, small-town feel.

I ordered the weekly skillet special. My steak was not cooked medium rare as I ordered it, but it was still flavorful. The restaurant was full except 2 tables, and it was very loud. I think I would choose the outdoor seating next time. Plenty of free street parking. Bathroom had a changing table and paper towels to dry your hands.

I was excited to hear the news about this cozy little diner being built in town. I watched it go up and transform into a hub for gatherings and running into your neighbors unexpectedly, while enjoying your meal. They sure don’t disappoint either.
Very good cofffee, skillets, and sandwiches, amongst other plates. Portions are worth what you pay, and the food has come out (for me at least) the way it should, every time – delicious, and usually enough to take home.
I’ve ate here a few times now, and besides Bowen’s Creek Coffee Shop, this is my next go to when I’m in town. I’ll be back!

At last, at last! Clean and up scale breakfast in Arcadia. Everything about this place scores high. Avocado toast was great. Same for the eggs Benedict. We will going here a lot more next year. We’re going to Florida now!

It’s almost the only restaurant in like a 15 minute radius so it would be easy for them to be “just good enough” and still do a little business. But no, in my opinion this is a “go out of your way to eat here” restaurant. Highly recommend the roasted redskin potatoes and the sausage patties (I really can’t stress enough how much I love their sausage patties). Haven’t had any lunch items yet but I can only imagine they are just as good.

To say this place was eagerly anticipated is an understatement. We vacation in Arcadia every year & are thrilled to have this new terrific restaurant in town. Good menu, yummy food, friendly service & cute atmosphere with both indoor & outdoor seating. Plenty of pastry to go items & even dinner takeaway meals most days. Highly recommend! Very Reasonably priced.
