This place is the best for gluten free / dairy free / and vegan options! I love their jumbo vegan cinnamon rolls, vegan biscuits, mini cinni’s, cinnamon sugar pretzels, and matcha! The icing for the cinnamon rolls is sooo goooood!! The biscuits remind me of Cracker Barrel biscuits – but GLUTEN FREE! They are a small operation so be mindful that they can sell out quickly and may not have certain items when you arrive. We need gluten free bakeries like this to survive in Chattanooga for all us gluten free peeps so plz go support them!!!!

Great small gluten free bakery! They have the best gluten free biscuits that I have found anywhere. So far, I have tried the chicken and biscuit and the bacon, egg and cheese biscuit, both were delicious! The chicken was fried just right and the bacon was lean and crispy! I am looking forward to trying other items on the menu.
The place is a difficult to find if you haven’t been here before, we drove past it 3 times before we realized it had an old sign above it.

What an amazing find! Carving Rock Kitchen, a dedicated gluten free kitchen, is an outstanding example of how delicious food and accommodating allergens and eating preferences can happily co-exist. Soul satisfying comfort food in chicken biscuits, biscuits and gravy, cinnamon rolls and more. With as many vegan and dairy free options as gf. This is a GEM of a spot with decimated and friendly staff to boot. Try everything and go back for more!

Really great food! I’m not GF but I loved everything tried. They make their coffee syrups in house and the banana bread flavor is unique and yummy. Very cute place too- look for the Peach Cobbler sign if you can’t find it

My only complaint is that I don’t live in Chattanooga! I’ll be dreaming about the pretzel and fried chicken biscuit sandwich. Also Courtney, Laura, and Hayden were so kind and welcoming

I think any gluten-free dedicated Bakery is amazing so I will start at the saying that. It is so hard to make a living and as a passed Baker I can completely understand and relate to this.

I want to start with saying that I understand that all gluten-free bakeries sell it really fast and if you come here anytime past 12:00 it is debatable if you will end up being able to get what you want.

The biscuit bread was good but it was very greasy and it was pretty dense. I think the price was a little much for what I paid for everything but I totally understand that for gluten-free products you need to charge more.

I think that the biscuits were too dense and there was not enough meat on them. Additionally I think that Little Debbie heart cake that I had was probably one of the worst outside Coatings of whatever it was that I’ve ever had in my entire life. It felt wet and I did not love it. That being said I did absolutely love the cake and the filling part of it. I think everyone should try it out but I’ve been to way better gluten free bakeries before. I always waited like 25 ish minutes for my food that I did not expect to wait.

The cinnamon rolls are a must! Gluten free everything and lots of other options. We enjoyed the biscuits and gravy. The service is spectacular. The restaurant is so comfortable and relaxing. The local art and makers are displayed for you to enjoy. The tables have drawing or other ways to enjoy your time together. Games and books. Cuddle up in a cozy couch and enjoy your favorite book or one of the many provided for you. As a vegan, vegetarian, who has had to add on gluten free this is a welcome find.

I have lived in Chattanooga for 6 months now and I’m so thankful for this Gluten Free gem in the heart of downtown. I tend to get the biscuits over and over. I have had a cinnamon roll too and it was great as well. If you have food sensitivities with gluten (she also has vegan items) you should check this place out! Thanks for sharing a piece of your heart with us Lezli!

I was in the Brainerd area and decided to Google gluten-free options near me.
Low and behold, a place called Carving Rock Kitchen pops up. I was intrigued. Then I saw it. What am I talking about ? ” Gluten-free biscuits and gravy!” I haven’t had gluten-free biscuits and gravy in a long time. That made my mind up instantly. I jumped in my car and drove the six miles from my destination.
When I pulled up, I could only see a few parking spots along the building with meters. It was Saturday. Why would they be out so I took a chance.
Upon entering this small restaurant with intriguing local artwork, soaps, and other things for sales, it felt peaceful and homy.
I walked up to the counter and started looking at the menu like I always do, trying to figure out what I could eat that was gluten-free as usual. Like I have been everywhere traveling the country the last six years. I immediately started a conversation with the cool gentleman behind the counter. My usual, so what is gluten-free on your menu? I have a gluten allergy? The words that came out of his mouth I wasn’t prepared for. What was it? He said everything is gluten-free in this restaurant? My mind didn’t compute for a few seconds, then it hit.
Everything is gluten-free in this restaurant? Really? I started to tear up. Everything? Wow! My mind started to race, looking at the menu.
I absolutely asked for an order of biscuits and gravy. Then I got two cinnamon rolls, a biscuit with egg/ cheese/ beyond meat, and the tea with honey.
Let me tell you I was in total heaven. The food was so delicious and I was happily stuff.
This is my new favorite place to eat breakfast hands down.
If you are looking for the best gluten-free dedicated breakfast in town, here it is.

Tell them I sent you.

Don’t take my word for it. Go see for yourself!

The owners are from Hunstville, Alabama, and moved to Chattanooga for 8 months. They are both gluten intolerant and noticed not many options were in town.

Please support this local business with fresh ingredients and support local artists.

Such a lovely place. It is so hard to find gluten-free food. I was visiting from out of town and was very pleased with my experience. Laura was very kind and the food was so yummy. I especially loved the cinnamon roll!!! Will be coming back next time I am in town.
