A Fantastic 5-Star Find – Well Worth the Drive!
We traveled 45 minutes for our first visit to Lucchesi’s to celebrate a birthday dinner, and it exceeded all expectations. From the moment we walked in, we could feel the charm and warmth of this local favorite. The restaurant has a nostalgic, white tablecloth atmosphere that strikes the perfect balance between upscale and comfortable. It’s clearly a go-to spot for special occasions, another table was celebrating as well, which added a festive touch to the evening.
We started with the roasted peppers and cheese appetizer, which was a delicious and flavorful way to kick off the meal. For our entrées, we chose the Lobster Romano and the Spots, both were fantastic, prepared with care, and absolutely packed with flavor.
Each dinner came with a fresh salad topped with house made dressing and blue cheese, which was simple yet really well done and delicious. For our sides, we selected the pasta with their homemade red sauce. Just a heads up: the sauce is pretty sweet, but as someone who typically doesn’t go for sweet red sauces, I have to admit this one was an exception. It was rich, smooth, and surprisingly delicious.
The menu isn’t overly large, but we found that to be a strength. It’s thoughtfully put together, focusing on high quality, well executed dishes instead of an overwhelming number of choices.
A special thank you to our server, Ronnie, who went above and beyond. Friendly, attentive, and professional, Ronnie helped make the birthday celebration even more special.
Important tip: Lucchesi’s is only open Thursday through Saturday from 5 PM to 9 PM, so be sure to make a reservation. With limited hours and high demand, it’s a smart move to book ahead.
We were truly impressed with our first visit and can’t wait to return. If you’re looking for a memorable dinner with incredible food, outstanding service, and a cozy, elegant atmosphere, Lucchesi’s should absolutely be on your list.

Visited this fine establishment with some friends and I must say, the food is amazing. The venue is for fine dining and is small and quaint. So make sure you make a reservation or you will find yourself out of luck. It can also be pricey but with what you get it’s well worth a special night with your spouse or small group. I had the Lobster Romano which was amazing. And my wife had the filet mignon. She’s already asking to return for her birthday. Everything here is quality. A+

We have been dining here for 35 years! Sadly, Les and Pauline have passed, but Edmund is continuing the excellence. Just visited for our daughter’s birthday and it was perfect. The crab hoelzel and mafalda are delicious appetizers. Chicken parm is unique and yummy, ditto for the lobster Romano. We often disappointed with pricy meals, but never here. It is old school, so not for everyone, but we love it.

We went here for my b day dinner . This was my 1st time here, and I am from Monessen and have always wanted to go there. I got the veal and wine, and my wife got the chicken parmasean. Both were excellent! Also, the pasta and pasta sauce were very sweet, and we loved it, probably my favorite part of the meal. We were there at 5, so it was not packed. That was good because we got to talk to the waitress about the menu. The atmosphere was nice and there was ample parking. The price was good. When I am back in town, I will be stopping by again.

We’ve lived two miles away from Lucchesi’s for five years and just recently heard about them. We went tonight for our five year anniversary and we were not disappointed. We had the Garlic Shrimp appetizer and it was amazing. I got the Lobster Romano and my husband got the Filet Mignon. Both were absolutely wonderful. We got the cannoli to go for dessert. YUM. Like other have said, it’s not cheap, but you definitely get what you pay for. We will absolutely be back again! Thank you, Lucchesi’s, for a wonderful anniversary dinner.

Went here with my husband to celebrate our anniversary. The food was phenomenal and they make a great margarita. My husband made fun of me for ordering a margarita. But it was good. The atmosphere is great as well with low lighting and candles. It is sorta fancy place but is still down to health giving off a sorta home like vibe. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Great food and atmosphere. We traveled an hour to get to the restaurant and will definitely be going back. Fillet and veal were both fantastic. They’re open Thursday through Saturday. Make sure you make reservations. Call the number listed and leave a message if no one answers, they will call you back. Wait staff was extremely friendly. They don’t have a website or menu listed online. Entrees include: lobster, fish, several fillet/steak options, several veal choices, and chicken. Probably forgetting some, but just wanted to provide first timers with an idea.

A very pleasant surprise. Toni the waitress was very patient with us. My wife and I ordered things we have never tried before and we weren’t disappointed. Toni had taken the time to explain and even make corrections to what we wanted. She is a true professional.
We felt very at home there.

It was THE Worst Experience of my life. I will Never go back there again. You want a good time and Great food go to Kodiak Restuarant. you’ll be treated better and the food was Fantastic at 1/4 the price.
Lucchesi’s is over rated, and how the hell they’ve been in business for so long is mind boggling.
