Probably one of the best subways I’ve been to. The lady made my wrap amazingly. She was very particular about giving me a wrap shaped and sized more like a big burrito than a small egg roll! She was specific about wanting to add the sauce at the right time so they don’t get messy with the veggies. She was seriously a sandwich artist. I got cookies bc I saw they were fresh out the oven. She individually separated the cookies with a piece of parchment between them. She attacked everything neatly in my bag by size. She just was very considerate of what she was serving me. I NEVER give tips for take out, but I did leave the tip when it came up on the screen. I wish I had cash to directly hand her. The place was clean, and like a good atmosphere. Plenty of seating. Ample parking. If so here again when in the neighborhood.

I am beyond frustrated. I placed a mobile order for turkey, no mayo (I am allergic).

I ordered a second sub for my grandmother whom I was visiting and planned on eating dinner together, but would be unable to leave her side for several hours while my mother was out.

I discovered when I arrived to visit her that the sub I ordered had mayo on it and my grandmothers did not, even though it should have. I understand mistakes happen, but trying to follow up to resolve the issue is where my frustration arises.

I tried calling the store number that is listed on Google, the Subway website and the app and the number is non working.

I tried filling out the feedback form on the Subway website and the “store search” function and date function do not work on iPhone. I had to copy the message to a computer and submit it that way.

I returned the sub several hours later and they remade it without an issue and apologized, although it was a different shift of employees. I mentioned that I tried calling and their number wasn’t working and the employee just responded, “oh.”

I’ve ordered here in the past via mobile and when I arrived to pick it up the employee said my order was cancelled and didn’t know why. I had to wait in store while she remade it which made me late to another dinner date with my Grandma.

The store also does not accept coupons and it is also written in colorful ink on the glass that covers the ingredients. The store across from UNH does, however. Would recommend going to that one instead to save yourself a few bucks and frustration of dealing with this store.

Very good hygiene practice, I really appreciate it. Hands bring washed and gloves were changed before making new sandwiches.
Clean store, price is reasonable, paid .10c for a plastic bag but it’s the CT state law not to blame the employees or the owner, they are doing their job as a middle man to collect taxes.

My boyfriend and I came here tonight and one of the workers was being suuuper rude to a clearly obvious new hire still in training, it was disgusting. the white woman in the picture was the one who was training the brown skin woman and was degrading her in front of customers, treating her like she was an idiot (though she clearly is still learning how to do everything) verbally abusing her almost.

She was inconsiderate of the trainee’s feelings, if that was me I 100% would’ve walked out and QUIT because I wouldn’t be able to deal with that behavior myself. My heart goes out to that poor girl who kept a smile on her face and continued trying her best.

This woman needs to be dealt with IMMEDIATELY!!! SHE HAS TO GO!!

I had a very disappointing experience at this Subway®. The staff is extremely rude and unprofessional. When you try to place an order, they don’t listen properly and argue instead. If you take a little time to choose your bread or toppings, they skip you and start taking another customer’s order. There is no sense of courtesy or patience.

This morning, one of the female staff members even started arguing and told me not to “teach” them how to do their job. Such behavior is unacceptable.

On top of that, hygiene is a serious issue. They are not changing their gloves between customers, and they use the same knife to cut both vegetarian and non-vegetarian footlongs. This is highly irresponsible and unhygienic.

Please think twice before visiting this location. I hope the management takes these concerns seriously and trains their staff to be more professional and maintain proper hygiene standards.

I finally decided to write a review. I came here a while ago to order some food. The woman at the counter didn’t have the greatest attitude. I said, whatever. People have bad days. She was super slow, and sighed every time we asked for something. I came again today because I was craving some Subway. The same lady was there! Terrible attitude. I wasn’t even 5 feet inside and she instantly remarked that she was super busy. She shouted it out to us, which wasn’t very nice. She said she had “60 sandwiches to make”. Like, what? 60?? She showed no compassion or kindness. We tried to get her name, but she wasn’t wearing a name tag. It’s just so tiring man. I understand life and work can get stressful. But the audacity that worker had was unbearable. At least show some decency. Will never return to this location, which was on Sawmill Rd, West Haven.

I ordered through the app & it told me my order was ready. So hen when I get there they just start making my order then other customers come in to order and they leave my sandwich sitting out while they take three customers and they used the same bread that had been toasted almost 15 minutes prior and refused to remake it when I asked repeatedly. They kept saying it’s fine & it wasn’t bc my sandwich was cold and both of my sandwiches were made incorrectly and I only noticed by the time I was already home. I reached out to customer service and got an automated email from the owner. Just don’t waste your time or money here they literally have no integrity and the customer service is terrible

Horrible customer service. All I wanted was cheese toasted on the bread before they put the meatballs but the worker argued with me about it cuz she already put the meatballs before U even finished my sentence. The store was empty. I just left.

Highly recommend. Went in for a salad on my break and was informed of the protein bowl. That’s going to be my go to now. I witnessed how detail oriented they are, how they care about only using the freshest ingredients, and they changed gloves multiple times because the customer in front of me does not eat pork. They also give a very decent amount of ingredients.
