I went there for the first time in May 2017. The service was prompt and courteous. The atmosphere is about what you expect for serving $10-$15 lunches. The food was so so. I ordered a 3 roll lunch special. The ingredients were fresh, but there was too much cream cheese in the Philadelphia roll. My Spicy Salmon roll was a little too wet and rolled too loosely to stay together. Maybe they were having an off day. I might try them again in a couple months since their location is convenient to where I work.

My husband and I went in to try the BBQ for his birthday. We thought the food was great. Great atmosphere and friendly staff, for the most part. Our server was a bit strange. We were clearly on a date but she wouldn’t leave us alone. She didn’t know the menu/drinks well. She brought out our rice way before our meat and kept insisting we chug our carafe of sake. She said it not once, but four times! She completely forgot the sushi order as well. I kept thinking it was going to come out later but settled on not having sushi. We wanted to stay and finish our drinks in peace but felt like we were getting ushered out. We will definitely return but will most likely request a different server.

I and my friend went there to celebrate a birthday. We chose the Korean BBQ table. Overall the food were great. The setting is nice and relaxing. The service can be improved a little bit to make this perfect. The kitchen is a bit slow though, taking quite some time to bring out the food. But as far as I can tell, they have a great manager who commit to make this restaurant better so definitely will comeback and support this business.

We came for the Japanese BBQ and really enjoyed it. The filet and shrimp were excellent. We weren’t big fans of the chicken and the manager quickly took it off our bill. And finishing the meal with a few smores was a great idea. The prices were very reasonable for the type of food and the service was good. While we were paying our bill I was still looking over the menu to see what I would get next time.

A nice restaurant but nothing that exceeded my expectations. The staff was OK (although they messed up one of our orders) and the ambiance is not the greatest. The food was good and I don’t have any major complaints. I wasn’t expecting a world-class restaurant, so in order to be fair, I’ll still give it 4 stars out of 5. I might come back for the sushi, which was good.

First things first, this place blew my mind!!!
The service was wonderful, the atmosphere was amazing. It was warm and inviting.
The food, wow. It is such an experience making the food yourself. It’s bennihanas on steroids! It was all fresh, tasty and clean. I will absolutely come again.
Price was respectable. I’d say average like 25 per person which is not bad for a nice place.
Love it

Delicious.. a bit spendy but you gotta live a little every now and then. Great service. Fun for all. Steak shrimp chicken combo to the dome SON! Can’t really go wrong with that. Always upgrade to the fried rice, it’s amazing and totally worth it.

Amazing Korean bbq experience! It was my second time there and this time our waiter was fabulous. (Alvin) had a long 10 hour shift at work and decided to treat myself to a good dinner on a Friday night. Our waiter was welcoming and friendly! Great service! Food was amazing, awesome seasoning, good side dishes. Was expecting to spend at least $100 with two family members but ended up to be only $80 and we were completely full and satisfied! For $80 we ordered an order of kalbi beef, two orders of pork belly, one order of small ribs, edamame, vegetable sushi roll, shrimp tempura roll, a glass of wine, a martini, and it all came with a bowl of rice for each person with side dishes! Great service, great food. First time wasn’t the best because it was super busy and all the waiters we tired and gloomy but this time we saw new waiters. Loved the service! Definitely worth the tip!

Food was good but tonight things were different. Apparently ordering hibatchi you don’t get soup and salad anymore. Only choice of one but the menu says comes with both. Also comes with white or fried rice but later found out I was charged for it.
Place was empty at dinner time so I’m guessing they are hurting for customers and are getting cheap. A better choice would be Kobe!

Reasonably priced Thai – Sushi – Hibachi menu, full bar, and happy hour specials, at Sakana, a family-owned restaurant tucked away in the Cub Foods shopping mall off Nathan Lane and Rockford Road in Plymouth. Sushi variety is great – both tempura (cooked) and raw. Most recently, I had the spicy tuna and the fried sweet potato (tempura) rolls, as well as hot and sour soup, while my friend ordered the Pad Thai Chicken. Everything was great, and we’ll definitely be going back.
