The owners are so nice! He helped us select some great choices. We had steak supreme tacos and the smash burger. Both were excellent and we didn’t leave a crumb on our trays! The cave sauce was delicious. I used it for my fries as well as the burger. It’s a sweet & tangy creamy sauce. We will definitely return! Highly recommend you try them out!

Small hole in the wall place in a very small town. The menu is very versatile. Hispanic owned so the Mexican food is authentic and delicious. They have pizza, burgers, tacos etc. I’ve tried the tacos and burgers and both were very good. The customers visit. asked about their pizza said it was good. I will try the pizza on my next visit.

Found this spot on a whim, man I’m so glad I did. Food was phenomenal ordered a Cheeseburger and two smash burgers cheese pizza and some tacos 1 taco didn’t even make it to truck did take out I wanted to try it all and it was great!

Highly recommend the carne asada pizza! I ordered extra cilantro. It was a hit!!!
Update: I went from first time customer to regular customer. The birria tacos are absolutely delicious, the wings are a weekly staple in our home. Highly recommend the mushroom Swiss burger! They also offer weekly specials which can be found on facebook.
First time customer here, but it won’t be the last! We ordered a Smash Burger, which was huge and delicious. The fries were fresh and delightful. We also had a Meat Lovers pizza, which had a delectable crust and just the right amount of yummy toppings. I saw a person rolling fresh dough while I briefly waited for my food. Can’t wait to try the tacos and wings! Thanks Cave’s Kitchen! I welcome your business in this small town!

Nice to have a restaurant in Croton…
Cave’s kitchen is in downtown Croton which is nice to see a business growing there. It is a small family owned restaurant where the owners actually cook your food. The menu is small but the variety is good. The food is really good. I had their smash burger with onion rings which I enjoyed. Wifie had a Mexican bowl with chicken which she loved. The owner waited on us and was very attentive. The interior is small but it is worth trying – i have to go back to try the Ruben because it comes highly recommended.

I recently visited Cave’s Kitchen and tried their supreme tacos — absolutely delicious! The flavors were fresh and well-balanced, and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a satisfying bite. The only thing I’d suggest is adding a soda fountain for more drink options and convenience. Other than that, great food and a solid experience!

The birria is delicious. Chips and salsa freshly made. Their pizza is different than other local places. I see what they are going for and hope they hit their mark. Not much seating but they are quick with the food.

Living in a rural area in the Sunbury / Johnstown area doesn’t provide a huge selection of great places to eat. A friend recommended Caves Kitchen in Croton and I didn’t even know there was anywhere to eat in Croton! Glad we found this place as the food is very reasonably priced, the food is excellent and the folks working there are super friendly. We tried 4 of their menu items and each was top notch. Had the birria tacos with consomme , three tacos came on a plate and each had a generous amount of birria meat along with the usual cheese,onion and cilantro. Also had the double smash cheeseburger with bacon and fries which are fantastic! I’ve paid more for a burger and fries elsewhere that couldn’t compete with this plate. My wife had the Ruben sandwich and loved it. The other item we’ve picked up a few times is their pizza and it’s awesome also. We’ve gotten the meat lovers and I prefer it over a number of better known pizza joints that specialize in pizza. Definitely a new fav spot for us and hope they don’t move to any other location! There are not many businesses in the small town of Croton , very happy to have this place in our area. Oh, this is a small , kind of a “hole in wall” place that has about 5 or 6 tables , and at times they are busy and do run out of tables. Pics are birria and pizza .
