We spent $60 for two adults and a kids meal last night. We waited about an hour for an online order that was messed up. My gluten free noodles were overcooked and mush. The kids meal was wrong. We were hopeful for this place as we live close. On two precious visits there were multiple very young employees who were more interested in talking to each other than waiting on others. One spent his time skipping around the restaurant. There were questionable Safe Serve practices. This place needs a mature supervisor and more focus on providing good service and food.

We were excited to try mac & cheese near our home. The cowboy bowl was really tasty and they have great tater tots. The food was hot, it did take a while to make because it is made to order. Some staff were not sure what to do when it came to ringing up orders. I’m sure that will change as they continue with training. It’s a little pricey, but they do offer lunch specials and other deals. I would recommend eating there while the food is hot. It’s worth a try to form your own opinion.

I’ve been here twice, first time was good food.
Second time was the worst experience I’ve had at a restaurant in a very long time.
My family and I came in just at 8pm, all the chairs were stacked up and no where to sit, not a single word was spoken to us while we waited for the 2 girls to finish up an online order. Our order was taken, my mom asked about the teacher discount and the girl seemed lost on how it works but got it figured out. While ordering they told us they were out of tomato soup, and our of tots… so half the meals weren’t even able to be made correctly. We waited for our food then got chairs out to eat. We ordered a best of both worlds and got a classic instead… I told the lady it was wrong and she offered to make a new one but it was already 8:20… when I told her it was wrong she said “well I didn’t make it the other girl made them” TO PLACE THE BLAME SOMEWHERE ELSE instead of her checking the food she wrapped up and gave us making sure it was correct, she said here they get this screw it, then blamed it on the next person…. I asked for a refund and the man from the back came out and said you already got that taken off for the teacher meal… okay cool, yall didn’t give me what I ordered so take off another sandwich! I drove 30 minutes to this restaurant FOR MAC AND CHEESE, didn’t get any. Wasn’t going to wait another 20 minutes for our sandwich when they close at 9…
I didn’t argue with the dude and let it go price wise.
8:36pm, the man comes from the back and asks us to leave MID MEAL because the inside closes at 8:30…. No signs anywhere…
Absolutely laziest most antisocial and unprofessional workers I have EVER experienced.
They need a lot more training…
I worked food service for many years, I left out of this exact issue, lazy employees who just show up for a paycheck. Hope yall can get some better training in there because it was an AWFUL experience. Truly the worst experience eating out I’ve ever had.

Honestly I have no clue why the reviews are so poor, the food I received was BEYOND delish! I jokingly asked for more breadcrumbs on my mac because why not, and they actually loaded as requested.
The amount of freedom you have with customization is insane, being able to build a bowl from scratch is nice too.
I can understand the hesitation folks have seeing the review score, but imo it looks like they took the feedback well and improved!
They also have this adorable currency called “IHMAC Reserve Note” which gives you 20% off your future orders.
I myself enjoyed them quite a bit! Reviews aside, give em a chance and form your own opinion like me ❤️

Everyone was super nice and patient. With all the questions I had, they took their time and didn’t rush us. They didn’t act annoyed or anything. I took some recommendations from them, and it turned out delicious! It was a lot of food! I got a Mac and cheese bowl. My partner got the grilled cheese. My partner couldn’t not stop raving about the sandwich. Everything was quick as well. I couldn’t finish my food so my partner happily ate it for leftovers. Definitely a must try!

What a disappointment! This place is a joke. Start with extremely overpriced for the amount and quality you get. The salad was very basic and not very good. They advertise the rice crispy as if it’s something special, and for the price of $4.10 you kind of expect a little something more. It’s just a pre packaged generic nothing special rice crispy. (see photos). Ordered through door dash. Ordered a Cuban and received a basic grilled cheese and didn’t even initially receive my over priced rice crispy treat. Had to drive to the location expecting for them to make it right. Manager was less than helpful, told me I had to get a refund through door dash. No, I don’t want a refund, it’s not door dashes fault you can’t fill a simple order. I want what I paid for. Manager has a little attitude and obviously lacks the skills and experience to deal with upset customers when problems arise. I know we’re all human and mistakes are made but how can you screw up this bad that I had to drive all the way there to get this fixed. The least you could have done is throw in a free drink or something for the trouble. I would advise anyone to choose a different place, but if you have to go, just have low expectations so you’re not as disappointed as I was.

The Mactory is WAY better!! The Mac n cheese at these places is not great. I have tried it a couple of times and am not impressed with the taste. I should have just gone to McDonald’s for lunch. If you’re looking for exceptional Mac n cheese in Colorado Springs, go to the Mactory, I promise you won’t be disappointed!!

Been anticipating trying this place since its close to home. I had the chicken parm Mac and my partner did a build your own. Both lacked flavor and …where’s the cheese??? I know I ordered parm but it said it had cheese. It’s just dry noodles, bland sauce , and some chicken nugget meat.
