Tried this for the first time today and was very impressed. Had one of the breakfast bagels, a breakfast croissant, a latte and a cold brew coffee. The portion size of the sandwiches was generous and everything tasted fresh. I will definitely return to try more items.

This little coffee shop & wine bar in Huntley is an absolute gem! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a cozy and inviting atmosphere. I decided to try their Avocado Toast, and it was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. The bread was perfectly toasted, the avocado was fresh and creamy, and the toppings were a delicious combination of flavors and textures. I also had a Caramel Macchiato
But it’s not just the food that makes Lincoln House & Co. special. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the service was prompt and attentive. It’s the perfect spot whether you’re looking for a place to relax with a good book and a cup of coffee, or a place to catch up with friends.

I grew up in Huntley (born in 1963). Many things have changed and some not for the good but this little coffee shop and the adjoining mini-parks with gas fireplaces are just delightful and were a pleasure to discover after almost 40 years away.
I had a toasted marshmallow hot latte and a chocolate chip cookie s’more. Both were delicious.
I went outside in January and enjoyed both while sitting on an Adirondack chair next to a warm fireplace. It didn’t feel like Huntley.
Decor inside is exposed brick walls with tables or window seating.
Service was attentive and speedy. Counter girl was friendly.

Unfortunately we had a poor experience, the staff was unwelcoming and unfriendly. We weren’t even greeted upon entering/coming up to the register. Most importantly, the food was off. When we tried the chipotle mayo on the sandwiches it was super acidic and didn’t taste right. The ranch on my sister’s sandwich did not taste right either. I don’t know if it’s a recipe concern or they got a bad batch from a manufacturer. We recommend coming here for the coffee. We don’t recommend the smoothies as they lacked flavor.

Welcoming and historic atmosphere. I felt at home the moment I walked inside. My friend and I both had avocado toast on Sourdough bread. Delicious! Each employee gets to create a meal and it’s available for 2 weeks. So enjoyable having this creative touch added to their normally delicious menu.

Very cute and relaxing coffee spot with cozy vibes. Cappuccino was amazing, and so was apple caramel latte with cold foam.
Enjoyed the chocolate chip scone also.

While the coffee here is good, it is inconsistent, expensive, and I’ve never had a positive service experience. I love supporting local small businesses, but the staff here is always cold and not welcoming. You have to press a button at the register to receive help. The last time I visited, two girls were talking behind the counter while I looked at the menu. They looked at me as I walked up to the register to order, made direct eye contact, then went to the back where I saw them continue to chat and laugh behind the window in the door. So I had to press the button to order. This was not a unique experience at Lincoln House.
It’s crazy that two lattes with oatmilk and fees comes out to $20, but the staff can’t even acknowledge you or pretend to be friendly. I understand having the service button if they’re tied up in the back, but it seems like the employees take advantage of it.
