Today I got to try the Chicken Katsu Jyu at $15.95 and it really was good. Also, the service was very friendly and helpful.

Good Food, fast attentive service. Portion size is good for reasonable prices. Old restaurant that has been there over 40 years, not much of the decor has changed since then. Good selection of dishes and many many combination plates available. They are known for their large portions of sukiyaki and their tasty macaroni salad, but beware if you are MSG sensitive as you may leave with a headache. Parking is the biggest negative, only 4 stalls in the front of the restaurant and very limited 1 hour maximum street parking.

The teishoku set was delicious. The A set was yummy with grilled chicken, ton katsu, tempura and seasonal vegetable sides. Every thing was cooked well and tasted delicious.

Walked in randomly and was really good. The Katsu and BBQ chicken were all super tasty and the ahi was super fresh. Loved the Udon soup to super authentic. Cold Soba noodles were tasty too

Amazing meal. The waitress was very kind and helpful. The food came out fast and took us longer to eat since there was so much of it. Definitely a hidden gem 10/10

Excellent Japanese restaurant. 4 stall parking lot with street parking is a little inconvenient, but well worth the effort. The food is reminiscent of the small neighborhood Japanese restaurants of the past. Homestyle comfort food. The broth for the udon is very good. A favorite is the Spicy Ahi donburi with sushi rice (the combo with the Wakame Udon is great, but very filling). The combo plates are good as is their sukiyaki. Worth a try! The pictures are of the spicy ahi donburi and the nabeyaki udon.

Pitiful Yosenabe at high price! All Won Bok cabbage and only a bit of Salmon with lots of tiny bones. I have patronized Yagura for over forty years. Worst dish from them ever.

Only take out available, call ahead. Walk up takes about 10-15 minutes. Not as good when it’s take out for some reason it tastes better dining in. Bento B Shrimp tempura was great, the rest not so much, Teri Beef was not tender, Teri chicken not flavorful.

Old School Japanese dinner. The sizzling teri chicken is the best. It’s like a crispy Teri chicken.

Went inside for the first time this past Friday to order take out. The staff were friendly with their recommendations since I needed a no meat option for Lent, and they offered me water or hot tea as I waited for my order to finish. I didn’t expect the combination plate to come with so much food. I now have another option to go to for lunch near work.
