It’s a very small location with a lot of love inside the person that cooks the food. And once a place came out and greeted us and talked to us, she was so amazing. Their food is so good. I mean, there’s enough for 2 servings. There is outside stadium and you go to the back. And you order by the screen door that’s in the back of the parking lot and then there’s a big tent and back where you sit and you eat your food.We will definitely be going again. You gotta go early or you’ll miss out on mac and greens like we did. Bbq beans were like candy the ribs and rib tips are sooooo good !! Nice home cookin !!

I drive down here from Porter ranch at least 3 times a week. You really can’t go wrong with anything on there menu ALL there food is FIRE!!! There sweet potatoe cheesecake is FIRE there bread pudding to live 4. There gumbo is off the hook ,there ribs are so juicy and tender full of flavor, there beef brisket is so flavorful,there swamp water is fire ,
I could go on and on all there food is delicious. My favorite place to eat!

I got it delivered by Uber eats everything looked good packaging included but it had a bad smell before I even open the bag.. I know the Uber driver smelled it. If you’re cooking my food I would expect you to smell it and feel the texture before you fried it up all golden. Looked really good. I broke a few open to see if all were bad.. 18.99 catfish spoiled fried and sent over to a very hungry man ♂️ ♂️ ♂️

This is a great black owned business if you’re looking for some awesome Louisiana style food this is a great place to check out. The service is amazing and the food!!! even better . I highly recommend it’s a 10 out of 10 you can’t go wrong & when you order your food don’t forget to grab one of their drinks . They’re off the chain. My favorite is the swamp water and the blue Bayou. Check them out when you get a chance. we appreciate the home-cooked meals, Amari & Ms Lois.

Ordered through uber eats gumbo small smothered cabbage potato salad all was was not good gumbo no flavor potato salad soupy/ cabbage hard unedible I wasted my money on this never again. Fortunately I was able ti get a refund and throw that nasty food away.

My first time visiting this Restaurant and I ordered the 16oz Seafood Gumbo and it is delicious. My compliments to the Chef/Cook. The Woman who took my order was very pleasant, courteous, helpful and kept a beautiful smile on her face the whole transaction. Great prices too. I will be visiting again real soon. I found a new Seafood place and it’s not far from my home at all. (I put it in my own container when I got home.)

This was horrible, the cabbage is sweet, the beans and rice tasted scorched and the barbecue tasted like there was a gas leaked in the oven as well the briefly put the meat on the grill then the oven, that gave it that gas leaked smell. First time last time.

If you walk in to order be Prepared to WAIT for it….this is food made with care and it will take a min to get it ready. If you need to “in n out” Y’all better use online ordering

This place made my tummy so so soooo happy. I can’t wait to return for more, imma be ordering 90% of the things off the menu till I find the BEST dish to make my recommendation. So far though…..that Mac n cheese and brisket is FIRE. Stop by and try it.
