I purchased 3 dozen decorated cookies for a baby shower and everyone raved about them. They were super cute and tasted amazing. The owner was very easy to work with and hit our vision right spot on. My only regret is that we didn’t order more because there weren’t any left at the end of the shower.
These cookies and icing were soft and not super hard like many decorated cookies that are out there. I will be ordering again for special occasions or maybe “just because”.

I was in Highland for just over a week in January for a very sad reason, but Michael’s Coffee Shop was the perfect place to pop into first thing and get the day started right. Fast, friendly service, great drinks, and it’s such a gorgeous coffee shop! Someday I’ll visit again and be able to sit inside and write in my journal like a normal person. Thank you!!!

Neat little coffee shop nestled into the sleepy town of Highland, IL. Not officially a Starbucks but they serve all the SB drinks and food items. Not super convenient hours but definitely a good find in a small town. Cool atmosphere and friendly staff.

Its a nice little coffee shop where you can get work done, or just kind of hang out and relax. The staff is friendly and there are lot of comfortable seats. Although the place isn’t very large and it wouldn’t take too many people to find you don’t have a place to sit. I’ve been here 3 times this week though and that has yet to happen.

Everyone was very nice! I heard from a friend they had Starbucks, after complaining I can never get coffee in highland and I have to drive for it. I liked the atmosphere much more than your ordinary Starbucks. The girls at the front were helpful and kind. I’ll definitely tell my friends about here!

Gotta love the ‘Bucks.. It’s like a slang for Starbucks. They’re all over the place. That place is like the Promised Land to me… This shop is an improved, more homey version of Starbucks.

The owners and staff of this establishment are very welcoming and friendly. They allow us to hold interviews in their sitting area. They also have delicious coffee and pastries. Their blueberry scone is delicious and softer than you would expect! Highly recommend!

A small, cozy shop serving Starbucks coffee. Very friendly folks and it looks like a great spot to tuck in to a book. I was unable to stay sure to our plans and covid, but would definitely do so again next time in in town. My wife says the hot chocolate (with a splash of hazelnut and a shot of espresso) was delicious. My plain light roast coffee was great.
