The rice doesn’t taste fresh. Like they recook rice from the way before. (the real Haitians know what I mean) the chicken was dry. The legume was salty. The tomatoes tasted bitter and mushy (rotten). Real Haitians won’t eat here. I took food home (about 3 plates) because I wanted to support my people.

The people are nice, but the place needs some updates definitely. It isn’t cleaned and cute. I ordered a chicken patty, and I was left with a heartburn after forcing myself eating it because I was hungry. The patty smells good , but did not taste good. It was too grassy, and the patty dough tasted weird, like not fresh, like it was made many days ago. I had to take peptobismol for my heartburn. I hope they consider my reveiw and make some changes because the staff is nice, I am sure they could have better.

This place is very hit or miss, and lately, it’s been a lot of misses. Lately, it feels like almost every time I buy food from there, half my food is cold to the point where I have to throw away most of it. So, unless you want to gamble with your money every time you go to this place, I would avoid it.

The people are very friendly and kind. I needed to wait for a few hours until I could get into my AirBnb and they let me stay warm and cozy until I could go in. The only reason it’s not 5 starts is because they food is not of my taste (taste is VERY subjective) and the door isn’t the best letting all the heating go away as soon as someone comes in or out.

The place always had people coming and going so I’m assuming that some people do like the food

Their food for the most part is good. But their paté koté is 1. Absolutely disgusting 2.there is barely any filling 3. The pate itself is filled with flour, like you can actually taste flour off the first bite. As a haitian I was completely disheartened as to why the one of our staple Street food was so terribly made.

So disappointed about the food. Bought a chicken patty, it was so bland and spicy. Tell me why I found a long black hair in the middle of my patty. I was so disgusted . Will not recommend to anybody

The bannane was the only thing on my plate that I enjoyed. The patties were fine.
I was so disjointed because I was really looking forward to this food! There are much better options in the area.

As a Haitian descant I will NEVER come to this place ever again. Shame on you! Shame on you Haitian for even allowing yourself to own a business in the USA. My wife came in to get me some Haitian bean sauce today when one Haitian woman told her no while the other lady told her yes. When both of them started speaking kreyol to each other and laughing and looking at my wife which happen to be white like what the hell you doing in a Haitian restaurant. Didn’t know money have a color restrictions. Learn how to run a business, upgrade your customer service. Don’t forget we pay your bills- then again you will never find my in the dump ever again
