We had a really great experience at Grills Seafood Tiki Bar in Port Canaveral. The atmosphere is exactly what you want when you’re on the water — relaxed, fun, and lively with boats coming in and out and that classic Florida tiki vibe.
Our table ordered a mix of tacos, shrimp scampi, a poke bowl, and the mahi mahi, and everything was fresh and flavorful. The mahi mahi was perfectly cooked and flaky, the shrimp scampi had great flavor without being too heavy, and the poke bowl tasted fresh and well-balanced. The tacos were a hit too — simple, fresh, and done right.
Service was friendly and upbeat, even though it was busy. The only reason for four stars instead of five is that the wait was a little long and it can get pretty loud during peak times resulting in some missed menu selections on an order. But overall, the food, views, and atmosphere make it absolutely worth it. We’d definitely come back next time we’re in Port Canaveral.

Excellent food and a great ambience. Close to a lot of hotels and the cruise terminals. Highly recommend this establishment for dinner and drinks! All our food was really good but the grilled cobia was the star. Will definitely return next trip!! A++ Grills

From the moment we walked in, the vibe was perfect—waterfront views of the port, a lively yet relaxed atmosphere, and that classic Florida tiki bar energy. We were seated in like 10 minutes and greeted by our server, Gerald, who was an absolute rockstar. He was friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about the menu. His recommendations were spot-on and made the experience even better.
We started with the bacon-wrapped scallops—perfectly seared, juicy, and the bacon added just the right smoky crunch. Unreal! For mains, we shared the Cuban shrimp sandwich (loaded with perfectly spiced shrimp, fresh toppings, and that crispy bread) and the grilled fish of the day (whatever it was, it was fresh, flaky, and seasoned beautifully). Everything was cooked to perfection—fresh, flavorful, and generous portions. Finished it off with a favorite Key lime pie.
To wash it all down, we went with margaritas—strong, refreshing, and exactly what we needed after a long day. Gerald suggested a couple of tweaks to make them even better, and they hit the spot.
The whole evening felt effortless and fun. Grills has that rare combo of great food, stunning views, and exceptional service. Gerald, if you’re reading this—thank you for making our dinner unforgettable! We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Cape Canaveral.

We had a party of four and ordered fish Reuben, chicken fingers and fries, mahi plate and Cuban sandwich. Everything was amazing and the service was 8 out of 10. Totally passable! Amanda was attentive but busy. We love coming here. Walked along the water and checked out what the fisherman caught and the pelicans waiting to eat the scraps.

We had been to the Grills Riverside and remember it was delicious, so we decided to watch the cruise ships and have some food at Grills Portside. Everything was delicious. FYI, a “full” order of cheese bread is 4 pieces, so we had to order two (and they were devoured so quickly that I don’t have any photos ). The grilled chicken sandwich is one of the best I’ve ever had. We will definitely be back! Service was friendly, bathrooms were clean.

Nice ambiance and generally good service on our visit. Ordered the tuna dinner and tuna tacos. Both were good but somewhat cold when delivered to our table. The dinner didn’t have enough sides for a hungry man but the taco sizes and quantities were perfect. We would definitely return.

My wife and I dined here on August 15, 2025 and it was a nice evening. Food was fresh and delicious, atmosphere pleasant, wait staff friendly and prompt. Very cool atmosphere here with lots of deck seating outside, as well as both and inside and outside tiki bar. Very popular with locals. Excellent place to watch the cruise ships go in and out of port while you are dining. We also got to watch Space X recover one of it’s boosters off the barge and crane it onto the pier for its next mission. Highly recommend this restaurant over the other three waterfront dining options located just to the west of it.

Everything was delicious! The waitress was very knowledgeable about their fish of the day and how they tasted. Our food was fresh and cooked perfectly. Even the kids enjoyed their fish!

The birds got really close while eating outside but never tried to snatch our food from us. It was so fun watching the fishermen bring in their catches of the day.
