Located in Brookmans Park, our all-new pub has recently undergone a complete transformation, re-opening with rich opulent interiors – giving a luxurious and elegant feel. Great gastropub with a wow factor on entry. The food exceeds expectations every time and it is competitively priced for the area. At times, service could be friendlier and make one feel like their custom is appreciated. Gets busy on weekends and holidays, reservations are recommended.

Staff were lovely and friendly. The place is massive and has a nice atmosphere to it.
If you happen to be in the area it’s well worth a stop.
Decent Taps selection as well.

We came here for my Nan’s birthday. The food was really lovely but most notable was the really great service.
I had to ring a few times beforehand to amend the table and the staff at the Brookmans were always friendly and accommodating.
They were kind enough to let me bring a birthday cake and we’re happy to bring it out with candles and plates.
All of the staff were so professional and helpful, I was really impressed. The whole group had a lovely time, it was the perfect Sunday lunch.

Avoid – parking scam – attended with the family for a New Year’s Meal, parked in the customer parking, the bays clearly had customer parking printed on the floor.
Some time had passed and all 3 cars have recieved parking fines.
I called the pub to discuss and they mentioned there was a sign by the bar which was not seen as people were obstructing the view on entry, they gave me an email address and said they will cancel the ticket.
They ignored the email and refuse to cancel the ticket.
Food was acceptable, not good but OK.
The service was good and the staff were friendly, mentioning the need to validate parking would of been appreciated.

Just enjoyed a great vegan 3 course lunch, houmous and flat bread to start. I had the mushroom and Leek risotto. My husband had the dirty vegan burger and then shared the vegan sticky toffee pudding. Would highly recommend. Nice atmosphere and decor.

From the moment I walked in I felt very welcome and the atmosphere was very warm. Whilst I waited for the second member of my party the menus were brought over. Big props to Jamie and Emma and the other lady who’s name i didn’t catch, for your attentive service. The food was top notch and the venue was very nice and tidy. Thank you for everything.

Christmas Day menu, 6 adults & 4 children aged 3-7; we had a great afternoon and throughly enjoyed ourselves. The venue suited this family gathering very well and staff looked after us splendidly.

I have been here quite a few times over the years and have never been disappointed. The food is always of a high standard. The waiting staff are amazing. Even though they are noticeably busy they do not rush you as a customer and they are really knowledgeable about the food. The downside here is that it is noisy which adds to atmosphere but it is difficult to hear people speaking. They do have a conservatory which is quieter though.
