The old Moment’s bar has once again been revamped into a laid-back lounge for the mature crowd. I visited this establishment on a late Sunday night, around 10:30 PM. The establishment closed at midnight.
The DJ was on point with a mix of current hip-hop music and R&B. There is a lot of room to move around and dance and there are two pool tables off to the side. There is also a very spacious patio out front for smokers or just to enjoy the breeze while sipping on your drink.
I paid a little over $20 for two shots of top-shelf tequila which is pretty standard in my opinion.
During my visit to this establishment, there was a woman cooking soul food in the back kitchen area. The name on the menu read “Mary’s Soul Food” so I decided to give it a try. The food was decent but I have definitely had better bar food. The wings needed more flavor and to be cooked longer as you can see in the picture. The fry’s were also pretty soggy but the fish was pretty good. The menu advertised mac&cheese but unfortunately there was none available when I ordered.
My one complaint is that my friend and I were pretty much shoved off of the patio by security when it was closing time (which they didn’t announce). Instead of management respectfully stating they were closing down, security came outside and started throwing and stacking chairs and tables while my friend and I were still eating / finishing our drinks. There was also another couple outside finishing their drink as well. I would have appreciated management would’ve respectfully stated they were getting ready to close and asked us to move inside.

The DJ was awesome. I had a really good time. The drinks was really good. The bartenders need more knowledge on what’s what when bartender told my friend they didn’t have sugar. The next bartender and my friend has sugar on her drink. I love the place I really have no complaints. I will be back. The parking was amazing. They have more than enough parking Thank you guys again for a good night.

The spot has a cool vibe & the bartenders are good especially the ones that are there on Tues. They’re the reason I gave it 3 stars because the food service gets 1 star & I would hv given -1 if possible. The girl taking orders has the worst attitude sitting on ph & acts like u disturbing her when u come to order. We had a crowd of like 8 people with us this past Tues & most of us wanted tacos. We went up individually at different times to order & each came back talking about how stank she was. None of us ended up ordering & we came out to eat tacos so we decided to go to another spot. She actually caused at least 6 orders walk out because of her nasty attitude. She would have definitely been let go that day if I was running that spot because she’s terrible for business! We literally went to another spot ordered food & many more drinks that could have patronized this spot smh
