The best fried chicken I’ve ever had! The sides (mashed potatoes + gravy, corn, coleslaw, stuffing, and fresh bread) are delicious as well. They had patio seating open and I was able to bring my dog for once! Just be sure to call ahead to see if the patio is open if you plan on bringing your pup along for some great food.

We had great drinks and a great fish dinner on Friday. Great historic place, was a brewery way back. Thanks Dan for inviting us, had a fun night!

Best Fried Perch Dinner!!
Lone Star provided our family with fresh, fried tasty perch fish dinners which included Cole slaw, apple sauce, tartar sauce and potato pancakes. The slices of bread were small and the perfect size. The portions were beyond what we’d expected. We were pleased that our food was packaged with so much care. We waited less than 5 minutes after arriving and our food was ready and curbside pickup available.
We’ll definitely order our fish fry again from Lone Star Tavern.

Very good Wisconsin bar fish fry. Bring cash they do not accept credit. Potato pancakes taste homemade. Perch was amazing. You walk to the end of the bar and put your name down. There will be a wait so sit and order a drink I recommend an old fashion. Waitress comes to the bar and takes your order and tells you what table you will be sitting at. Small dining room. Wait is worth it.

Ever since we found this place it’s hard to go somewhere else for a fish fry. It’s that good but it’s busy. Even so, the wait isn’t that bad. They have their service down to a science. You actually order before you even have a table to sit at. Eric the bartender handles the drinks for both the bar and restaurant and makes a good drink. Sometimes you need a bit of patients for the 1st drink but after that he keeps watch and has you covered and for the most part, remembers what you’re drinking.

Wow….great fried chicken dinner….4 pcs. chicken, mashed, stuffing, corn, slaw and bread for only 8 bucks! Wife had the wings that were huge for 6 bucks. Both dinners not only tasty….but arrived with the biggest smile I have ever seen on a server! Looking for that little place with great flavors….this us it!

Went there with the family for their fish fry and I was pretty nervous considering I’m alergic to fish (who goes to a fish fry with a fish allergy? me…), but they were awesome with accommodating me for my allergy. The chicken strips were awesome and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely reccomend to others.

High prices and uncomfortably loud. Great place for locals with no where else to go? Place over sold. Waitress staff serves you – next time you see them is when you chase them down for the bill. Small place with long wait to be seated. Should be rated two but wanted to be nice.

5 star Insanity! Lol finally our 1st time getting in! Was there at 415 on a Friday for fish. Only 2 ladies work the floor and 2 behind the bar. Cash or check ONLY and no ATM. FYI. Food didnt come until 2 hrs later…mostly to my fault because I couldn’t track our waitress down fast enough. I would say, be assertive and order fast! Menus are up on the board behind the bar. Just order when you get there. By 5 it was a madhouse but super good. Slots are fun

This place is clearly for local regulars. Went on a Friday night to try the fish fry & looked around a very busy bar area to try & figure out how to tell someone I wanted to dine there. The whole process is extremely unclear to someone that has never been there before.
Once we figured out how to check in (end of the bar, write your name in a notebook, hope for the best) our waitress approached us at the bar & took our order. Apparently they take the order then when your food is ready they seat you. Not sure how I feel about this process.
Once food was served everything was fine. Perch was good but nothing I’d encourage anyone to actively seek out.
Oh and they only take cash & didn’t have an ATM at the time of my visit.
