If you look up Wahlburger reviews we had the same issues. Service was horrible, to start the cashiers were rude, the one just walked off after she saw us coming, then the one that came up to the counter gave us menus then she left. Finally got our order in she was not friendly either. We waited 30 minutes for our food and I had to go to the counter where the staff were standing there talking and tell them that we haven’t gotten our food, the guys said ok I will get it for you, took about five more minutes to get it and it was cold, I got the burger with the egg on it and the egg gelled up because it was cold. The burger itself had no flavor whatsoever. Will never eat here again!!! The kid that was in the restaurant talking to one of the patrons told them the staff hate working in the kitchen and it shows. HyVee I think you can do better!

The last time I had come here was about 5 months ago and I was quite unsatisfied. The shorter lady who’s name I believe started with a M did not provide the expected service, however the Market Grille has really turned itself around from what I experienced during my most recent visit. I was immediately taken care of by the sweet girl with the lip piercings and although she was running a lot she still provided quick service and would help immediately when asked. The food was brought to us very quickly and we watched as she would bring out food, clean tables, help customers, and do side task as if she had unlimited stamina! The food quality was great and we made sure to leave a good tip for the young lady that made the experience worth coming back!

Initial impressions were high, affordable food with large portions and a bar. Those impressions quickly wore off as there were only two staff members on duty. The bartender and the young man assisting her. Placing orders was painfully slow despite there being very few other diners compared to what this section can hold. When our food finally arrived some people didn’t get all of their meal, others got wrong items, one of the items was sitting out so long it was cold. The last member of our group had been waiting 30 minutes since we ordered and still didn’t have his food. This service is deplorable and I feel sorry for the two wait staff that clearly are not properly equipped for any kind of service rush should one happen. I don’t blame the employees, this is a clear cut and dry case of terrible and lazy leadership on the part of store management. The person in charge should actively engage in their section of this store and properly train their staff. I’ve worked in retail for 5+ years from a cashier to management and this is just sad. I will not recommend eating here to any of my Nebraska or Arizona friends until the situation with poor management is resolved.
