Absolutely loved it here! I think our server was Eileen? My memory with names is terrible, but my wife and I went to eat for our anniversary for lunch and it was AMAZING. Very simple food but done expertly. Also the begniets were top notch (coming from 2 people from south LA one of us from NOLA). We definitely plan on coming back again and again, the seats comfy, drinks great, food amazing, and our server was attentive and fantastic.
I actually ran into her at my own job when she placed an online order and I just HAD to remind her how great everything was thats how amazing our lunch was.
Thank you so much for giving us a great experience and we will DEFINITELY be back!!!!

Walking around downtown and decided to give this place a go. It was clean and cool and the staff was courteous and polite.
I was quickly seated and my order was back before too long.
I had a cheeseburger with fried sweet potato fries and it was all savory and tasty.

Having a wonderful dinner downtown is wonderful. Easy to get to and parked was right in front.

Adam talked over the menu and gave me several suggestions. The Full Monte was the winner with beer battered onion rings. WOW what a sandwich!! The outside was the perfect crunch and the ham and cheese melted in my mouth. The onion rings were done very well.

I notice that people mentioned the chowder in past reviews. I couldn’t see it on the menu and Adam didn’t mention it to me earlier. He did say he was supposed to tell me about it but he forgot. The soup of the day was cheese and broccoli soup. I had to have some. What a great lunch topper. Very tasty but could have been hotter.

The atmosphere is what you would expect from a family diner/bistro. Very cozy.

I really enjoy looking at the built-in bakery that they have the front doors. Great added revenue generator. I was tempted to get some cheesecake but all I can see was my wife shaking her finger at me.

I do feel the prices are a little high. Next time I’m in town I will come back and try something else.

Excellent food and service. Onion rings are awesome. Fried green tomatoes and fried dill pickles and sauces we loved so much we ordered more. Our meal was a great variety of dishes served. Finally the Turtle Cheesecake we had to get to go with strawberry and vanilla cupcakes. 8 very happy customers this day.

The food here is delicious!!! Great menu, not too large, options for everyone, vegans included! Fabulous service. They brought our son his meal first, always helpful, and brought our food very quickly after. Our waitress was a doll, gave our son a dollar in quarters to get bouncy balls out of their coin machines :). Highly recommend to anyone. Great place to take the family.

What a lovely place! I enjoyed seeing the makeover during our visit last Saturday. I was particularly excited about being able to order falafel in El Dorado and the tzatziki dip and pimiento cheese dip was delicious.

I enjoyed the Whistle Stop Burger which was topped with their pimiento cheese. And boy howdy it tasted great!

Thank you for the soft opening tickets, my entire family enjoyed every bite!

On the lookout too find a place too eat and decided to eat at this gem! Service was amazing and very kind, and a very cozy atmosphere in downtown. The food was A++ , and the dessert was the best we’ve ever had. Highly suggest this place for anyone who comes through or is close by.

From the moment we sit down in this tastefully decorated bistro, I knew a great meal was coming! And I was not disappointed! I ordered a grilled chicken bacon sandwich and sweet potato fries and it was the bomb! The spicy mayo complimented the grilled chicken breast perfectly. The sweet potato fries had just the right crunch! My best friend ordered a pulled pork sandwich which she stated was the best as well! Service was superb! And the chef, amazing!!!!
I will definitely be back next time I’m in El Dorado!

I got the kids burger, kids pb&j, the Crunch (hot dog w/ pb&J, topped with captain crunch), and falafel fritters.

Prep time – my order took only 6 minutes to prepare. 5/5

Kids burger – delicious and a realistic size for a kid! Simple toppings but executed so well, my toddler didn’t even ask for condiments. Abundance of fries. 5/5

Kids pb&J – I mean, it’s a PB&J, ya know? Pretty standard. I do feel it could be grilled more as the bread had more of a “kind of stale” feel to it. The way it was packaged for to go could use improvement. The fries were on top of the sandwich so a fair amount of the fries were also PB&J fries. It’s pretty messy, which I don’t dock Barefoot for, but I think separation of sandwich and fries would improve the experience of a take-out PB&J exponentially. 4/5

The Crunch – oh, the high hopes I had for this weird little guy. The good: beautiful char on the dog. Flavors are so complimentary. Split top bun so it’s easy to eat. The bad: the crunch was stale. Full on stale. Do you know how long it takes to pick off approximately 120 pieces of captain crunch from the top of a jelly covered hot dog while also preserving said jelly? Too long!! I learned a lesson and will get this dog captain-free in the future. In theory this is my favorite part of the meal, but the stale CC dropped its rating down. 3/5

Falafel fritters – tiny little tasty morsels. I do think they could have used some salt in the batter (is that what you call it?). There’s a hint of heat in the falafel. The sauces included were both lovely. 4/5

Fries – 5/5. Fresh and still warm by the time we got home.

We ate here for the first time today and the staff were all great! The porker and BLT sandwiches with sweet potato fries and their house made chips were amazing. The beignets were so good. Definitely will be back
