Waited at the bar (no line) while both the guy and girl bartender walked past me and gave me dirty looks. They helped another couple before me, took orders from the other side of the bar that stepped up after me, I stood there for about 7-8 minutes. The guy finally huffed really loud (like I wasn’t getting the point) and said “what do you want?” I started to order and someone got his attention down the bar and he walked away to fill their order. I deal with a lot of this kind of thing so I know when that’s going on, it wasn’t a mistake.
I had enough of all that so I walked over to my wife to let her know we were going to spend our money elsewhere. As we were leaving, the female bartender yelled “byeeeee”.
-10/10 if that’s possible or maybe less.

Has a good small town bar feel, found the locals friendly and willing to share there hangout with us. We lost all sense of time as the sun keep shining as we digressed into the night, drinking, laughing and dancing.

Best bar in town!!! Hands down! Decent bar food served long after you can get anything else in town, super friendly service, locally owned & operated…they will cater to whatever your needs are…within reason! My favorite bar to just sit and enjoy a beer with the colorful locals, play a game of pool or darts or beer pong, play pull tabs, play the latest hits on the juke box & have a dance party under the strobe lights & disco ball or listen to a new band! ❤ ❤

The bar is okay in atmosphere, but that is about as good as I can give it. Food took well over an hour to get, and I had to remind the staff that I had ordered them. I’d ordered a basket of chicken tenders and it only came with three small chicken wing sized chicken strips and some burnt fries.

Second day in a row coming here for lunch and a couple beers!! Great atmosphere and friendly staff and people!! This place is definitely making the teansfer to Kodiak a lot easier!! Will be visiting Haines again for sure!!!
