What I love most about Toppu is their incredible variety — from sushi to ramen, to teriyaki and stir-fried noodles. Their sushi boat is a must-try, featuring a beautiful assortment including the Arigator Roll, Spicy California (fried), and Snow Mountain Roll. The eel avocado, sweet potato, and shrimp tempura rolls are also fantastic, each bursting with flavor.
Their ramen, especially the Katsu Ramen and the very spicy Volcano Tonkotsu, never disappoints. The portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable, making it easy to indulge without guilt. I also enjoyed their beef and chicken stir-fried noodles, along with the chicken teriyaki and beef fried rice — all cooked to perfection.
Don’t skip dessert! The mango and strawberry mochi are the perfect sweet ending to a satisfying meal.
Service is friendly and attentive, and the ambiance makes you feel right at home. Whether dining in, taking out, or ordering delivery, Toppu always delivers quality and flavor. Highly recommend for anyone looking for authentic and delicious Japanese cuisine in Quincy!
As for the food, it’s amazing. They use top-quality ingredients, and every dish I’ve tried there has impressed me. I really wish there were more locations of this restaurant. One of my reasons for returning to Quincy is to visit Toppu!! I hope they keep growing and putting in the same effort as always. They’re doing great!
The omurice with curry and karrage chicken was exceptional.
If you read this review and you’re on the fence, let this be the reason you make the trip.
Absolutely coming back.
We also tried other dishes, and you can really tell the ingredients are fresh and high quality. The Kiss of Fire roll was a standout — spicy, flavorful, and beautifully balanced. Everything we had was delicious.
Service was friendly and attentive, making the meal even more enjoyable. The whole ambience felt clean, bright, and welcoming.
It’s the kind of place i want to come back to. Parking was also very easy, which is a huge plus in Quincy.
Definitely a spot worth visiting again.
Highly recommend for anyone looking for great Japanese food at a reasonable price!
The sushi pieces were fat and incredibly fresh — seriously some of the best I’ve had in a while. The unagi don was full of flavor, and the ramen hit the spot. Drinks were refreshing and paired perfectly with the meal.
Overall, we had a fantastic experience at Toppu. The service was attentive and friendly, the food was spot-on, and the ambiance made for a great night out. Highly recommend!
Besides that, I came here because I tried it on doordash at first and got their crudo and omurice which was delicious. Brought my partner along and tried others like the nigiri (big pieces), matcha cake, omurice with katsu, and their skewers were yummy. I also ordered the skewer platter but my favorite was the chicken skewers. Highly recommend. No wait, and there is parking.
I had seen Toppu pop up in my Instagram feed a couple of times and saw how lovely this new ramen shop looked and I knew we had to try it out. Well a visit from my wife’s brother was a perfect chance for us to check it out. And we were ecstatic with our experience.
First off the decor and the interior design are so well put together and very inviting. From the mural on the wall to the hanging paper lanterns to the small rock gardens, Toppu is a great little shop!
The food and service are top notch. Everything we ordered was delicious. The ramen noodles were the perfect balance of firm and chewy and the tonkutsu broth was rich and creamy and not too salty. The egg was cooked to perfection and the deep fried chicken for the Karaage Ramen was not greasy nor dried out. My brother-in-law got the Katsu Ramen and an appetizer of popcorn shrimp that were also both delicious. My wife ordered the Toppu Tonkutsu Ramen and we split an eel avocado roll and a King Dragon Roll for the table. Everything was served with a smile and our server made sure our tea and waters were always filled. We finished off the meal with a vanilla mochi and their green tea tiramisu, both of with were scrumptious.
I highly recommend Toppu to anyone who is looking for a reasonably priced and incredible ramen. I know this will be our go to place from now on. There were a few different bowls and rice dishes that we wanted to try out in the future.
The menu had a wide variety of choices including appetizers, ramen, sushi, and rice dishes. We started with the gyoza and sticky ribs, and for our main dishes, we opted for sushi rolls and omurice.
The appetizers were average. The gyoza was standard and the ribs were decent with a light tempura fry and a drizzle of teriyaki glaze. They were tasty but nothing extraordinary.
The omurice was disappointing as it didn’t resemble traditional omurice. It was essentially scrambled eggs on top of rice and lacked flavor, though it improved slightly with the addition of soy sauce.
The sushi rolls were the highlight of our meal. They were fresh and well-prepared. We enjoyed the shrimp tempura maki and the salmon nigiri in particular.
Overall, this place is decent for sushi and perhaps a couple of appetizers. It’s a good option for a quick meal, although being new, there’s room for improvement in terms of the overall dining experience.
