We’re not from the area and were just visiting, so we stopped at Gionino’s Pizzeria of Ashland to grab a quick bite to take to our son’s house who lives in Ashland. We were really impressed. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the food was made fresh and hot. The pizza was delicious, and I especially loved the gluten-free pizza—it was one of the better ones I’ve had. Everything was quick, easy, and exactly what we needed. If you’re local or just passing through, this is definitely a great place to stop.

This owner definitely knows how to treat a customer! I had ordered a pizza about a month ago. There was a problem with it. I called the store they offered to refund the cost. I waited about 2 weeks for my refund which never came. I called back and advised the store. The store owner called me a couple of days later, and apologized for the time frame on the refund. Today my refund was delivered to my home! Including a gift card. Love their pizza and never had a bad experience until this one. I will definitely continue to be a customer as they provide excellent customer service!

I asked for extra sauce on the mac-n-cheese pizza there was practically no sauce. The chicken tenders were so dry and chewy my daughter couldn’t even eat them. The crust was aweful. For a $100 dinner it was aweful. Normally we go t0 the one in Wooster but since we going to the Fin we decided to just go to the ashland one, but never again.

They will not give you a itemized receipt and charge you more for your food then menu price. Cashier said I got a ‘deal’ and ‘lower price’ on my pizza, but yet my bill was $6 more then the menu price total should have been. I like gioninos the most, but this location will try and screw you

Editing my review because this place has gone south. I was a very happy customer, but my last order came with canned mushrooms and fermented sauce, already exploding out of the containers… not just “gross,” this is “call the health department” territory. The pizza was still the best chain pizza in town, but I think I’ll be sticking with our favorite mom and pop place from now on.
