The service was fantastic. The staff were always smiling, attentive, and genuinely took great care of us throughout the evening. We felt very welcome and comfortable.
It was the perfect place for a nice catch-up dinner with friends. The atmosphere, the food, and the service all made the experience special.
Highly recommended, and I would definitely come back again!
Special shout-out to Ihsane our server and the cook Sumit. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it a great spot for both casual meals and special occasions. If you’re looking for delicious Indian cuisine that truly delivers on quality and taste, this restaurant is a must-visit. Highly recommended!
First time staying at the Oberoi chain, however this resturaunt eas magnificent. I cannot add or give any words to describe how amazing and tasty the food was here.
Excellent waiter called Saaed who very helpful and his suggestions on dishes worked well.
We will return.
An absolutely wonderful experience at Rivayat, The Oberoi Marrakech.
The staff and service were exceptional, genuinely warm and attentive throughout.
The food was outstanding, huge credit to Chef Sumit. Every dish was full of flavour and beautifully done.
They also made our daughter Myra’s 4th birthday very special with a cake and celebration, which meant a lot to us.
A truly memorable evening. Highly recommended.
Saad provided top-notch service — warm, attentive, and very professional.
Hospitable, accommodating, and without doubt one of Marrakech’s best Indian restaurants. Highly recommended.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We began with a beautifully spiced soup in the amuse-bouche, a bold and aromatic start that set the tone for the meal. Each dish that followed continued to surprise and delight us:
Canard ~ Seekh Kebab: tender and full of depth, perfectly balanced spices.
Bar ~ Mangalore: incredibly fresh and flavorful, with a rich coastal influence.
For dessert, the Chocolate ~ Orange was a showstopper, smooth, citrusy, and decadent without being overpowering.
Even the bread had a remarkable texture, warm and just the right softness with a crisp bite clearly made with care.
On top of the excellent food, the service was warm, attentive, and professional, adding to the overall experience without ever feeling intrusive.
Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to explore modern Indian cuisine at its finest. Our mouths were melting with every bite!
The starters, including samosas, prawn masala, and a blue cheese naan, were a letdown at £23 each. While I don’t mind paying a premium for exceptional food, the mediocre quality at these prices fell short of expectations.
As an Indian, I found the food bland and lacking authentic Indian flavors. The tandoori chicken masala, served as a whole breast with a side sauce, bore no resemblance to the classic dish. The chicken biryani was the only saving grace.
Given our high hopes for authentic Indian cuisine, I’m unsure if I would return. While the restaurant might satisfy non-Indian palates, it certainly didn’t meet the standards of an Indian food lover.
Everything is tasteful, the restaurant is beautiful in a magical hotel
The service was painfully slow and was the enough for taking away one star from the review. I’d still highly recommend this place for the quality of food and ambience.
