This place is amazing. I got a combo meal with tenders fries and a drink, I think I got the medium spice level which is good for my tolerance. The flavor of these tenders is great, as well as the crispness. They seem to have a decent level of sweetness to them. The sauce that comes with it is amazing, one of the best signature fast food sauces. Everything else we got was also very good. Highly recommend.

I went to Dave’s Hot Chicken to see what the hype was about. The customer service was great and everyone was friendly and welcoming. The food itself was okay. The fries were the best part, but the chicken tenders were overly seasoned and a little overcooked for my taste. Overall, I’m glad I tried it, but I don’t think I would go back. Still, great customer service and a nice experience.

1st time trying Dave’s. They did not disappoint. The store was clean. Staff were so polite and helpful. Placed a order online Showed up earlier than expected and they made it right away. My family and I dinner had at this location the other night. This was our first experience dining at a Dave’s Hot Chicken and we were impressed. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, and the food was excellent. I could definitely tell that they use high-quality ingredients! I tried a combo with a chicken slider and chicken tender, and the chicken meat was the best that I’ve ever had at a fast casual restaurant and was seasoned perfectly. We will be back!!!!

Great chicken, but the ordering process needs work
I visited for the first time recently and had a bit of a mixed experience. The chicken was excellent—perfectly crispy on the outside and moist on the inside—and the Mac & cheese was quite decent. I also really enjoyed the pickles!
However, the experience fell short in a few areas:
The Ordering Process: The kiosk isn’t very intuitive. If you aren’t tech-savvy, I’d recommend ordering at the counter. A major downside was that the kiosk didn’t offer milkshake toppings; I definitely would have ordered some if they were available, and the shake felt a bit plain without them.
Wait Times: Even though I arrived right at opening, it took almost 20 minutes to get my food.
Atmosphere: While the music selection was good, it was played at a very high volume. Additionally, the cleanliness of the packaging could have been better.
Overall, the food quality is there, but the service flow and tech side could use some fine-tuning.

Coming here was a good experience. The ordering was straight forward. The LCD screen accurately alerted me when my food was ready and my name was called out when it was time to pick up the food. I didn’t realize the combo did not come with a drink, and this made me concerned because I ordered Medium spice level, but to my surprise and slight dissapointment, the Medium level chicken was not spicy at all. However, it was juicy, hot, not greasy or oversalted, and the spice blend had a pronounced flavor of cumin.
The fries and dipping sauce were very good. It became evident that this place only serves tenders. Whether you order the slider or tenders. It’s the same chicken tender that is served to you. This is a key difference to Hangry Joes, which uses big filets for their sandwiches, and may give them a slight edge. The heat level at Hangry Joes is also much more serious, with the Medium level having me seriously sweating, unlike with Dave’s, which again had no heat at all to my taste. I did prefer the slaw at Dave’s over the apple cider vinegar slaw at Hangry Joe’s.
Next time I will order the Hot or Very Hot and see if there is a noticable amount of heat, but regardless the meal was tasty.

Tried Dave’s Hot Chicken for the first time today. I ordered the chicken bites in medium heat with fries and a vanilla shake with fruity pebbles. I loved the crispiness of the fries and batter on the bites. Medium wasn’t spicy at all. Barely tasted any heat on the bites. Staff were super friendly and the restaurant had plenty of seating. I will definitely be back to try their other menu items.

This is a brand new location so expect to have to wait in a line during their peak hours. I went at noon on opening day, took about 45 minutes from when I got in line to when I got my food. That’s to be expected and shouldn’t be viewed negatively.
Customer service was friendly, restaurant was clean and the food was delicious. I got the medium spicy sauce, didn’t think it was too spicy and had an awesome flavor. Chicken tenders were huge (probably half a chicken breast each), were juicy and the breading was awesome. In my opinion, it blows Popeyes and Raising Cane’s out of the water. It’s expensive, but I honestly thought that it was worth it.
I’ll be back for sure!
