Tried them for the first time on Sunday, I wanted to try their feijoada and let me tell you it did not disappoint!! The feijoada, wings, cocktails and churros for dessert were all DELICIOUS and you can taste the love. We sat at the bar and were met with outstanding service and fun conversations from two gentleman who’s names both started with a T, don’t want to mess up their names. Incredible experience and we will definitely be back to try other items. Fernando’s owners and staff really turned the place around, decor is beautiful and the vibe is great!! Unfortunately only got pictures of the churros, everything else got ate up pretty quickly lol

I ordered the ceviche–which is new to me–and I enjoyed it! The chips (which I suspect are house-made) were delicious! We’re definitely coming back to try the other dishes. Our server was great, too! We really like the decor as well.

My wife and I are so glad that Fernando decided to expand and open a location in Indianaapolis. The food is excellent as it is at their Broad ripple location. Chris gave us excellent service!
We had the Ceviche as an spetizer. My wife had the burripo. I had the shrimp and fish coconut stew. So kuch beautiful flavor and awesome atmosphere. Love how much bigger it is here!

Fernando’s feels special. There’s something wonderful happening here and Indy is lucky to have this oasis. It definitely fills a gap combining super authentic Mexican and Brazilian cuisine, sizzling head-turning dishes, excellent ambience, world class drinks, incredible staff, and the whole thing felt like a big family.
The Pão de queijo (Brazilian Cheesy bread) is absolutely DIVINE. Even better, it’s naturally gluten-free with special flour that comes from Brazil! The texture was light, airy, decadent, the cheese is gooey, and so so delicious. They come with sauces that are unexpectedly amazing. This entire experience was unexpected amazing. Best bread I’ve ever had.
The Pollo Azteca was so good. The sauce is buttery, rich, luxurious, velvety, and felt like a warm hug from someone’s grandma.
Our Mango & Coconut Caipirinhas were so refreshing and delicious. One of the best drinks I’ve ever had and one of the very best drinks in Indianapolis. Perfectly balanced, sweet, and it felt like being on the beach.
My partner ordered the Shrimp Burrito and Yucca fries which were absolutely wonderful. The sauce on the burrito was an excellent and refreshing touch that really elevated the flavor. The Yucca fries were crisp, excellent texture, and the fresh sauce was a star.
The vibe was really cool, quiet in the front with an easy-going bar in the back perfect for groups, dates, or special occasions.
We were here celebrating and this was hands down the best choice! It just felt really special and this is a world-class international experience in Indianapolis that is much needed. Highly recommend.

A friend and I celebrated a birthday at Fernando’s recently. We really enjoyed the atmosphere, and the food was top notch. My friend is gluten sensitive (but not an allergy). We were really impressed with all the gluten free options! We started with the Pao de Queijo, which was delicious and piping hot when it reached our table. Our server, Joe, did an excellent job walking us through the menu, as it was our first time visiting and we were unfamiliar with many of the dishes. He also did great confirming what would/wouldn’t work with my friend’s dietary restrictions. I would definitely recommend and visit again.

Atmosphere is dark and moody, mid-century modern. Food is INCREDIBLE! Our waiter was extremely knowledgeable and familiar with the menu. 1 small item that we didn’t love was the fact that you can get drinks/apps while you wait but you have to cash out separately before going to your table so we waited 20 minutes to cash out at the bar after our table was ready. Would 100% go back and recommend to others!

I put 4 stars for one reason, the food was tremendously delicious !! The apthmosphere there was great! But the server(waitress) there was a little annoying,we were trying to celebrate my daughters 22nd birthday, my daughter choose an alcoholic beverage,when she show her ID to proof her age,the waitress says ” i feel old now” ,we asked why,she told us that she have the same age as my daughter,22!!! Then my daughter ans husband they both like A1 sauce on their steaks,the waitress replay:” this is not a steak house to have that kind of sauce here” but the food was so good!! We enjoyed!!

We always visit Fernando’s when we’re in Indy and the new location is incredible. We love the space and the food, we can’t say enough about the delicious food. Caipirinhas are a must (we chose a flight as always) as is picanha (our favorite cut of meat). This was the best steak my husband had all year. A big thank you to everyone there who made us feel welcome and created our drinks and meal. We’ll be back!

Incredible first visit to Fernando’s. This place feels like a true gem that Indy is lucky to have! The food is fresh, flavorful and vibrant. The vibe is excellent and the service was attentive and helpful. Everything we tried was thoughtfully planned and well constructed. This is a well done concept and a well run establishment. We will certainly be back.
