This is by far my FAVORITE Chinese restaurant in Buffalo. The food is always so fresh and flavorful and though there are many closer Chinese restaurants to where I live I will always drive out of my way to get dinner from here. I’m also a vegetarian who used to love general tso chicken and this is the only place I’ve found that makes AMAZING general tso tofu. It’s sooo crisp and saucy and perfect I’m so thankful they have this option for us veggies it’s incredible.

I grew up downstate New York, and anyone from there knows the Chinese food near the city is on another level compared to anywhere else. When I moved to Buffalo, it was really hard to find a spot that hit that same quality, until I found this place.
From my first order, I knew it was something special. The food tastes just like the takeout I grew up with. fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. I actually called after my first meal just to tell them how good it was, and the woman who answered was so kind and appreciative. Ever since then, she’s remembered me whenever I order.
One time, I got an egg drop wonton soup that tasted off — kind of like they forgot the seasoning — so I called just to let them know. She immediately apologized and said, “Oh my God, we forgot to season it! I know you, you’re Andrew, you’re so nice. Next time you order, I’ll give you a free soup.” Sure enough, next time I ordered, she made it right and the soup was perfect again.
It’s not just the food that’s great here — it’s the people. They care about their customers and take pride in what they serve. Easily the best Chinese food I’ve had in Buffalo. Highly recommend!

Look at the fried rice. No flavor. Fast service but food is not good. My egg foo young gravy was a sweet sauce. Terrible! Egg foo young had zero flavor.

It was fast and accurate.
The vegetable Lo Mein was entirely noodles with a few shredded carrots on top, a dime-sized piece of broccoli and three tiny pieces of mini-corn. I was expecting there to be more vegetables, which is probably why it was a bit bland. This is why I’m rating low.
The steamed dumplings were as expected.

My husband bought three meals. One of them was a sesame chicken. Completely dry! I called to see what they can do because making it saucy wasn’t an option when he ordered in person. When we got home it was completely dry that my one year old eating from his dad plate couldn’t eat it. I was told there was nothing they can do for me but yet you can take the money, I’m not gonna lie the other food was good but this one wasn’t their best. That should’ve been an option to make it extra saucy if they knew it was gonna be dry. IF YOU’RE GONNA ORDER SESAME CHICKEN AS FOR EXTRA SAUCE, since that’s how they make their chicken.

After indulging in Chinese cuisine across Shanghai, Taiwan, Singapore, and Kuala Lumpur, I consider myself to have a rather discerning palate when it comes to authentic flavors. It’s with this background that I wholeheartedly recommend this gem in Elmwood Village for truly exceptional Chinese food. The Kung Pao Chicken here is a standout dish, generously laden with fresh vegetables and served alongside perfectly cooked white rice, capturing the essence of what makes Chinese cuisine so delightful.
This establishment primarily caters to take-out, but if you’re like me and prefer to savor your meal straight from the kitchen, they offer two tables for dining (but realize there’s not atmosphere whatsoever).

below average food, extra charge for using credit card, dingy place with weird vibe….. however, order was ready quickly after phoning in…..unfortunately, my first time and last time.

done with this place. food’s only ever mediocre at best, really would only end up grabbing take out for convenience. today I ordered a small soup on their website. directly through them. no third party. the website states you must pay in person and lists all major credit cards and cash as an option. when I get there, the owner says he won’t take a card for such a small order and to go to an ATM and come back. the least they could do is post this on their website/have not listed card as a payment option on my confirmation page.

The $4 spring rolls filled three full napkins completely in grease- literally soaked them all! My mom bit into hers and it literally spilled all over her lap. Tasted like straight grease and made me sick. Rice was ok but $20 for rice and spring rolls plus another $1 just to use a card… definitely will go elsewhere.

The food is great. I always get the sesame seed chicken with chicken fried rice and an order of chicken wings (can you tell I like chicken?). The lady that sits at the front and takes orders is very sweet and friendly. She said my face is handsome 🙂
Only bad thing I have to say is that the lobby could use a little remodeling, you can tell the place has been around as soon as you step in it.
Other wise, great for lunch and dinner if you’re feeling too lazy to cook.
