Been buying pizza from here for the last couple of years and it has always been amazing. My family is a huge fan of their pan style pizza. We ordered a large cheese and sausage from them and when I got home immediately seemed like this pizza was different. It didn’t have the same look or smells that’s it has in the past. My family and I started to dive in and almost immediately my wife notice her sausage was still raw on the inside. Almost every single piece of pizza on that pie was not fully cooked. As we got into the middle of the pizza, the pie was so doughy and not cooked properly that those center pieces were pretty much unedible. That night both my wife and I had very bad stomach issues and were feeling very sick. Definitely bummed out as this has been my favorite pizza place in the area.

Their thin crust is mediocre at best and forgettable. However, their famous deep dish is absolutely fantastic. It has a thick, yet incredibly light, buttery, and flaky crust that lets you eat a few slices without feeling like you have a lead balloon inside of you. The sauce, at least to me, was different/better on the deep dish compared to the thin which is good. Plus, a square cut deep dish is unique, giving your some messy but delicious inside slices. Skip the thin, get the thick here.

This place is amazing! The owners are so kind and welcoming. They make you feel like family. The food is beyond tasty! The pizza is so flavorful and enjoyable. The crust is soft yet crispy with a light buttery taste. The side items are served hot and fast. I’m definitely going to frequent Luigi’s in Plainfield, IL.

Good pizza but not the best. I give 6.2 out of 10. Ordered both the thin and deep dish. The deep dish was much better in my opinion with the crust being the shining light. The sauce was the worst part. The fact thats they sprinkle Italian seasoning on top is a dead giveaway of a subpar sauce. All in all I would order from here again but it’s not at the top of my list in the area.

If you like cheese on your deep dish.. don’t go here. I honestly think they didn’t put cheese on it at all. My whole family asked if it had cheese on the pizza. It was like crust and sauce and topping. I’ve never ordered a deep dish that had no cheese and it’s basically as much as a deep dish from any other known pizza place around here.

The service was terrible. There were 3 tables mine and 2 other families. We were sat right away, but it took over 15 minutes for someone to come and give us menus. Once we got menus they took our drink order and it took 20 mins for them to come back with drinks and take our order. The food finally comes, but the person who brought our food was in a hurry, dropped the food off and ran. We had to wait a good 20 minutes for someone to come back. I was furious. When the lady came back I asked for the manager. She said she was the manager and what was the problem. We didnt have silverware. No one ever brought it to us. She apologized and explained that they were very busy earlier in the day. I bit my tounge. But I thought there are 3 tables in here right now and about 4 servers on the floor. I mean the food was delicious as always. But I have never had such bad service.
